We loved Villa Palmentiello! Breakfast was excellent each morning with a backdrop of Naples, the sea and of course Vesuvius! The room was spacious, cleaned each day and very well equipped. We had Jacuzzi and Sauna in our suite. The grounds were worth exploring with lovely views. Food in the Villa was excellent however for a local traditional pizza visit Pizzeria Aurora... about 5 minutes away... sit down (or take away) ... good food wine and treats that will surprize.

We loved absolutely everything! Starting with the actual room. Beautiful room with an amazing view. The location is prime and makes it easy to get to nearby towns like Sorrento, Positano and Naples.
Best of all was Pia! What an amazing host. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and safe. Receiving us at the train station was so appreciated. She even went a step further and picked us up when we missed our bus home.
Book this space!! You won't regret it.

She has a pretty property, with a nice view from the back yard, close to Pompeii and Vesuvius. OFF street parking was a huge plus. It was clean, and the host was very nice.
A recently renovated bed and breakfast, Voce 'e notte offers accommodations in SantʼAntonio Abate. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking, and free Wifi.
We only went to see the sites. I wouldn't go for any other reason. I was surprised how dirty and run down everywhere was between Naples and Sorrento. Now that I've seen the sites, I wouldn't go back again. Driving is mental. There are no rules of the road, just go! It's manageable though with a good navigator. However, public transport is very reasonable and easy to manage.
Took a drive to Paestum- well worth it, beautiful site and the area was the clean Italy we were expecting. Had a lovely lunch there in Domus Clelia.
Eating and drinking out are very reasonable, we splashed out one night with multiple courses, wine and cocktails and the total was €85 for 2.
Not a location for a 'sun' holiday. Great historical sites to visit if that's your sort of thing.

Beautiful place with breathtaking views .
Super friendly and welcoming staff .
Room nice big size , super clean and bed so comfortable .
Breakfast super tasty served in garden with beautiful views on volcano.
Nice vine tasting areas .
Road to hotel is not to bad , don't let other people to put you off with comments "very narrow roads" as the road is not that bad , I could manage with no problems or panic.
We would definitely stay again !
Great setting overlooking Vesuvius with lovely gardens and a swimming pool. Connie was a superb host. The house is about 200m from the town centre so nice and calm. There is an excellent bakery and pizza restaurant in the village. You can get the train to Napoli from Angri which is a short drive away and a decent card park which also stops at Pompeii if you don't want to drive.
Location with amazing views of the Vesuvius and Napoli bay. scents of orange blossom, trees full of lemons and giant lemons surrounding us, oranges too. Peaceful nights. Very nice owner. Immaculate garden, pool was still a bit fresh due to the early season but very nice. Kids loved it too.
The good parts were:
We had a gorgeous room with jacuzzi which was an upgrade we were given without knowing and guests are given a bottle of Prosecco and fruit plate when they arrive which is the best part of the stay.
The hotel’s view is breathtaking and the breakfast is very nice.
This exuberant, rococco hotel may not be to everyone's liking, but it has a style unto itself and the staff takes great pride in it. I loved it because it was so over the top and seemed to be winking at itself. The common rooms we grandiose, festive and fun.
There was a breakfast buffet from 7-10 am included in the price of the hotel.
( fruits, at least 10 different types of delicious cakes, cereal, omelette, ham , toast , jams etc. )
Location was good and the hotel has plenty of space to walk around. Nice Italian style. The staff was friendly. They gave us an early check in when we arrived early.
