The management was very accommodating.
The management was very accommodating. They gave us space to snack and visit with our friends and provided us with water. We were blessed and appreciative, especially since we didn’t feel up to going out. Also, in the morning, the croissants were freshly made for us and the chef was willing to bake another for me if I had the time to wait. Also, one in our group was ill and the management allowed her to stay longer while the rest of us toured. VERY accommodating!!!!!!

Close enough to Venice, and decent and reasonably priced restaurants. Almost nothing to do or see, it can be a drag to have to commute to Venice. Not recommended for couples, maybe more a place for families or bigger groups to save some money over staying in Venice.

Quiet residential neighborhood not at all far from central Venice. One bus will take you to one of the main transit hubs and you can walk to all the canals from there. A very practical place for a short stay to visit Venice. Cheaper than Venice hotels and very easy to go to Venice - short and cheap trip by train or bus. Nothing particuraly interesting in Marghera itself.

Very convenient for Venice if staying on the island is too...
Very convenient for Venice if staying on the island is too expensive. Trains take you to the centre and seem to be every ten minutes well into the night so you can fully experience the wonders. Marghera has bars and shops too for an early morning coffee. Quieter than Venice too.

Marghera is a nice, silent city close to Venice. Our target was to visit Venice with family, and Marghera was a good choice to have a rest after a long day :) The public transport was really great, only 15 minutes to Venice. There are nice, cheap restaurants in Marghera and lovely coffee shops as well. Liked to stay here.VeresHungary

It is actually the best part of the whole experience in this hotel. There was also a private toilette/bathroom included, which was better than compared with other same-priced accommodations in either Mestre or Marghera, which all offered either common toilettes or bathrooms or both. Everything was very clean, albeit the furniture in the room was in pretty used or defunct condition. The station for the direct bus line (6/6L) to Venice is very close to the hotel.

At breakfast, the staff was willing to go the extra mile and that has made a significant difference in creating a welcoming environment and joyful start of the day ( often not found in other hotels!!! where the staff gets grumpy and becomes unwelcoming because you arrive in the breakfast room 15 minutes before the closing time). Well connected to Venice via bus!

To use the public transport we had a walk for 1.6kms (~20mins) which connected to the Venice Island and other attractions. Nearest Bus stop is "Marghera Cimitero" - take 81F to Venice after a walk of 20mins. If you have heavy luggage - just plan ahead, its hard to pull the trolley bag around. Restaurant is decent - we had pizza (though the prices are higher side) but there are restaurants nearby which had awesome food.Pogiri PraveenyaIndia

The pluses were very comfortable bed…the best of our 3 week trip, and the location. If you don’t mind staying in a very modest (but very clean) hotel, this place is a good value, in a convenient location. There is a bus stop literally in front of the house that brings you to Venice in about 15 minutes.

We had a slight misunderstanding at the airport upon arrival, and they made sure we are not worried by calling the police for us and cleared the entire misunderstanding. The hotel is nothing special but great for the money, clean, hot water at any time, quiet, everything you need for your stay in Venice as a traveler. Would recommend 100%!!!

They added an elevator to the building, which was a huge bonus since I was traveling with my 74-year-old mother. The staff is super welcoming, friendly and polite. And the location is unbeatable -only a few minutes away from the train/bus stations, so a very easy 10-minute ride to Venice. I would highly recommend!
