Super close to the train station. Literally next to the exit with just 1 min walk. It’s also a close walking distance to the pier to hop on the boat to other islands. The place is very nice, cozy and modern. Well cleaned. Sofa bed is very comfortable and big unlike other places. There’s snack (biscuits, macaron), tea and water to welcome us. There’s a microwave in the kitchen with all the kitchenware. Bathroom is well equipped with amenities. Water pressure is strong. The owner is also super nice and helpful. He stood in front of the place to make sure we find the place. When we msg him to ask something at night, he offered to come by to help and we’re very glad.

Arrived by taxi due to thunderstorm at that time. Entry ok Apartment musty smell until all windows and doors open Nice surprise of milk juice fruit provided in fridge and cruskets left.

Location is superb - just a minute or two from the Varenna waterfront or the main square. I had 80 and 75 year old parents with me and they were able to enjoy the town without too much trouble (whereas many other accomodations are too far up the hill or too many steps). On more than one occasion when the weather turned I was able to quickly run up the steps from a waterside cafe to fetch my parents a cap or some sunscreen from the apartment and I'd be back sat down in a few minutes. Host has a wine shop next door and welcomed my family of 5 (one of us stayed elsewhere) with a lovely glass of white wine each. Very nice way to start our trip. Also provided us with a discount on some wine purchases which we enjoyed drinking during some movie nights in the apartment (they had Netflix and Amazon Prime!). Clean apartment and a nice view from one of the windows (can see the lake), while the others face down on the cobblestoned alleyway where you can watch the world go by. Good instructions beforehand on locating and accessing the property - I communicated with the host on WhatsApp a few days ahead of my arrival. In the end I was able to access the apartment using the keysafe without any trouble, but after dropping my stuff off I ended up meeting the host at his wineshop next door not too long after.

Great appartment with amazing view on the lake. Large guest room and comfortable bedroom, separate kitchen and bathroom. View from the balcony is actually breathtaking and you can say that you are viewing the iconic postcard image of the Lake Como while sitting on the balcony. Apartment is located a little bit far from the main train station but the owner meet us and transported to the destination by car. Also most of the tourist destinations and city center are around 20 mins by foot. Owner is also very friendly and helpful person, ready to answer every question and request we had. Definitely recommend this and will come back as soon as possible

Located a few steps from Lake Como shores, I Tre Oleandri Varenna is an independent apartment with free Wi-Fi and private parking.
