Beds had enough space to put bags in with a smaller locker inside the bed. They have pajamas and other free amenities near the front desk.
Close to tram stops that connect to JR Hakodate station.
Pretty interesting common area where you could sit on like a bean bag and do work while looking into the dorm room.
WiFi was good.

A great hotel just across the road from the train station.
A great hotel just across the road from the train station. Close to other attractions eg the fish market. The room was a great size and big compared to other Japanese rooms we have stayed.
The breakfast was wonderful - a mix of Japanese and Western food.
The staff were friendly.
We wished we could have stayed longer but we only stayed for a night as a stop over.

Planned for 1 night stay; however while we arrived at Hakodate in the morning, there was unfortunately a slight snow storm that impeded our evening and night touring! And the storm continued till next morning and in the afternoon we left Hakodate for Sapporo, so didn't have the chance to see what we have planned.

We stayed overnight at Hakodate travelling from and back to Sapporo. We got to enjoy the morning seafood market that we were looking forward to and got to visit other places of interest on our drive from and back to Sapporo.
The visits to Mt Hakodate Observatory and Goryokaku Tower were enjoyable and it was also a good thing that the weather was cooperated and we had clear views of the city and sea.

Hakodate is a lovely place to explore if you enjoy Hokkaido seafood. It is a costal city and beautiful in autumn. I explored the city taking the trams and walking. The Red Brick Warehouse is a great place to shop and eat. The streets are super clean and easy to walk. The parks are beautiful with autumn coloured trees and flowers.

I heard so much about the sweet melon.
I heard so much about the sweet melon. Bought a slice at Y400 to try it out. Rather disappointed. Not sweet.
Have to beware about the price difference between sellers for crabs.
Knowing Y per Kg helps.
Very short distance from the JR station, reasonable price, fully equipped cozy Japanese style room, amazing decoration, kind staff:) (their English are pretty good 🫡
I even got a present when I checked out 😭 Thank you so much! This is my favourite hotel in Hokkaido🥺❤️It’s a pity that I only spent one day in Hakodate, if I have the chance to travel to Hokkaido again, I will definitely book it again.
I highly recommend this hotel to all the travellers!
This is my second time staying here.
It is a brilliant hotel attached to the JR Inn Hakodate station - perfect if you are coming straight off the Shinkansen. There's is a 7-11 in the station and surrounding area and other shops /eateries.
The rooms are smart, clean and have great views. Public Sento (hot bath) and free hot drinks such as coffee and tea.
You can walk to the sky view cable cart in about 30 mins.
I would not stay anywhere else.
Very good hotel “perfect for something easy to access directly from the Hakodate Station. In a decent location from plenty of other shops like 7/11, Family Mart, very convenient, and close to the morning fish market. Overall everything is good, if compared to the price it is considered very worthwhile. Hotel was clean, has good options and If there is a chance to come back to this hotel again.
The location is incredible, a very short walk from the JR station and main bus stop which connects you to everywhere. The tourist information counter at the JR station and will tell you exactly how to get to and back from different places. The Hakodate Morning Market is right next to the hotel, delicious meals everyday. Also, the Onsen on the 18th floor has amazing views. Can’t ask for more.
The hotel is located within 5 to 10 min walk from the train station and Hakodate Morning Market. There is a large parking lot. The room was very spacious and we could open 5 luggages. Toilet and shower room are separate which is great for large groups. Bed was very comfy and the TV could access YouTube and Netflix. They also provided pyjamas which was pretty comfy.
At first , we did not expect to have a wonderful hotel in Hakodate. The hotel in Sendai where we reserved from Booking.com was not that good. However Premier Hotel was exceptional. The location, staff, breakfast, room and bed were excellent. We also loved the pajamas in the room . They were very comfortable and we wanted to buy them. Value for price was excellent.
The onsen experience was a crowning jewel of my 10-day trip in Japan. I highly recommend it. The location is great for Hakodate, you're only a hop and skip from the JR line which is also the main connection for buses throughout the city. The hotel room was superb, and the more Eastern style breakfast buffet was immaculate.
We loved our very clean spacious room, the warm welcome and care of our hosts. They embodied the spirit of a ryokan or good niche hotel. Not in terms of luxury but by their hospitality. The location is perfect, and, as we noted, staying here in this lovely decorated place was a worthwhile attraction of Hakodate in itself.
I could survive thanks to breakfast. It tasted very good.
There are the post office and the coin laundry next to the hotel.
The first morning, I took a walk to Goryokaku, and the second morning, walked to Yunokawa t see the sea. It takes for 60minutes to Hakodate airport on foot if you like.
Right next to Hakodate Station. The morning market was behind the hotel. Spacious room. Clean and hygienic. Breakfast got lots of varieties including salmon roe, salmon/shrimp/squid sashimi, noodle soup, rice, curry, fruits, fresh juice, coffee and much more...
Hotel was just next to the Hakodate JR Station. Less than 10 minute taxi ride from goryokaku park.
Nice view, nice room, comfortable bed. We loved that the raised bed platform provided a seating space by the window, with wooden table to enjoy the night view.
This was a very cozy hotel with very friendly staff, we arrived a day late cause of flight delays and we had no problem checking in immediately and resting in our room. The location was also very good, quite walkable to the main tourist areas in Hakodate
Smart looking, clean, and conveniently located hotel near JR Hakodate station. Has Onsen on site and nice breakfast option available. A little tight for a family of 4, but still a great option, if visiting for a few days.
Great location. The hotel is attached to the Hakodate train station and directly across from the market. Staff were super friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller, you can't really ask for anything more. Great stay!
The staff here are helpful and bilingual in Japanese and English. The check in and check out process was easy. The hotel itself is stunning! Great room design, stylish foyer, and lots of information about Hakodate.
The hotel located in very strategic area, the check in and check out process very smooth, and the room was very cozy. I got the room that face the mountain, the view was super good!! Love to stay in here!
Good location, you can walk 10min. from JR station., at the edge of fish market.
laundry machine in room. The hotel provide coffee machine at the lobby area and 17th floor with ocean view of Hakodate.
Very good location, reasonable price and friendly staff. it's exceeded my expectation, I think I will choose this hotel again if I have the chance to travel to Hakodate in the future.
Overall, the service is good, location is great, it’s near the market, the pier and the mountain top! I will recommend this hotel for a short stay in Hakodate
