Beautiful lobby, nice breakfast with kind staff. You choose a Western or Japanese breakfast and then you can add salad. Onsen is nice, there is a little chlorine in the water, so I assume it’s not real thermal water, but still very convenient and relaxing.

Kanazawa is a beautiful city. The castle and park are wonderful especially with the Sakura in bloom. It is easy and cheap to get around and the food choices are excellent. We particularly enjoyed the cocktail bar Furansu - exceptional cocktails

Kanazawa was brilliant, especially after Kyoto.
Kanazawa was brilliant, especially after Kyoto. While Kyoto was crowded and set-up to process lots and lots of people, here it was so different. The cherry blossom festival in the park was full of people, but it wasn't heaving, like so much of Kyoto, and it was mostly Japanese people. There's so much to see and do here! People were super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The castle area is beautiful, especially at night. The various Chaya areas were pleasant too. We rented kimonos and went for a rickshaw tour around Kanazawa, which was a highlight of the whole trip.

We spent 4 days in Kanazawa.
We spent 4 days in Kanazawa.
Taking time to enjoy beautiful parks during cherry blossoms.
Parks looked like from the postcard, presenting top level of Japanese garden art. Including windy paths, streams, small bridges, bonzai trees. Elaborated to every detail.
City walls impressed me, and at well preserved samurai district we could find out how the life looked like 300-400 years ago.
If I will have more time, I will spend couple days more here.

If you love to go to traditional food markets, this is the hotel to book. You just have to cross the street to go to the market and you can practically eat all your meals there and the price is so reasonable. Caveat here, if you eat at the stalls, you will have to eat standing up in front of the stall but it is great that you can move from stall to stall to taste different foods. However, there are also restaurants inside.

Kanazawa is a great place to visit and to have as a central point to head out to other places. From Kanazawa we went out to Kurobe Gorge which is such beautiful country side. Hotel Intergate staff we excellent. Pretty much anything you needed, they would tend to. If going back to Kanazawa, I would stay here again.

I travelled into Kanazawa on the Thunderbird Express train.
I travelled into Kanazawa on the Thunderbird Express train. The station is modern and attractive and a short walk from all the main attractions. There is the Omicho market, geisha and samurai districts, a 400 year old castle and a modern art museum. Places to eat were plentiful and catered for all tastes. The two main attractions for me were walks along the river which flows through the town and the stunning Kenrokuen gardens.
Everywhere was within easy walking distance and the people were so friendly and welcoming. My lack of Japanese was never a problem.
Luxury. That word really describes this hotel, from the large beautiful lobby area, to the hotel's Tsukibae Craft Shop selling exquisite and unique art made by local artists, to the glorious huge perfectly designed and decorated room. And the view from our room was fantastic...from high on the 18th floor we looked out at the city lights and looked down over the wonderful architecturally amazing Kanazawa Train Station (no worries about train noise either). We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kanazawa.
Absolutely exceptional hotel!! Relatively newer hotel, with impeccable design, and incredibly thought placed into almost every part of the hotel from the room to items. The room was cozy and lovely, with combined shower and soaking tub in our room. We loved interacting with the owner, who was informative and kind. Breakfast was Japanese-home style food, so delicious!!! 10 min walk from Kanazawa station, and 10-15 min to any local sightseeing. Best hotel we stayed at in Japan and could not recommend more!
A beautiful hotel, spacious and beautiful rooms, very close to the castle and gardens. Fabulous Japanese hospitality by reception staff in kimono, and wonderful contemporary Japanese artworks throughout the hotel on the theme of “rain”. Complimentary Soba in the evening and a dedicated sake bar for sampling. This hotel was a treat for my son’s birthday and well worth every cent. Fabulous hotel and I’ll stay there again when I visit Kanazawa again.
This hotel is really new, the design is really chic. The location is perfect, you can walk out from Kanazawa station into the hotel without getting wet even if it's raining, super near to the station. Breakfast is okay, i consider it good, just that the previous few days I stay in Ryokan with really great breakfast thus in comparison the breakfast here is just good. Ameties in the room is great! and the staff can speak english really well.
I really liked it, it was one of my favorites Hotels during our stay in Japan.
Spacious room, very clean. Very quiet.
Convenience stores close by. Coffee shops as well.
Bus from Kanazawa station stops really close.
We sent our luggage to the next hotel, and the staff was really nice and helpful with all the process.
For us, we thought it was a good location for what we wanted to see/visit, and we don't mind walking.
Located between the station of Kanazawa and all the sights of Kanazawa. You just have to cross the street to start exploring this city. The room had a washing machine and an microwave. This made the room ideal for our stay in the middle of our trip. The staff helped us with sending our luggage to our next hotel. The breakfast was a good combination of Japanese and Western style.
The room was very spacious and the conditions were immaculate. My wife and I both agreed that the shower and bathtub were the best bathing experiences ever. Even better than trips to Sonoma spa resorts back home in California. The two bedroom set up was perfect for our family with two college age kids with us. I’d go back to Kanazawa just for this hotel room.
The hotel is beyond expectation. Been to so many hotels but the breakfast here is one of the best in terms of Japanese cuisines. The hotel also has so many amazing amenities with free noodle and popsicles at night for guests. The location is also great, within walking distance to Kanazawa castle park and other shrines and temples.
The hotel was located right next to Kanazawa train station within walking distance.
The room was spacious, although a bit outdated. Toiletries were provided, and wifi was fast.
We had breakfast at the property and it was really great: plenty of Japanese variety along with Western options.
I definetly would stay here again.
The hotel is well located, close to Omicho market and you can walk to Kanazawa castle (18 min) and Kenrokuen garden (19 min) and Higashi Chaya district (16 min). It's at 10 min walk from the train station.
The rooms are cleaned and beds are comfortable.
The breakfast is various and good.
The staff is kind and helpful.
Room was spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. Location was great. Close to the market. Self service washing & drying machines. Ice maker. The Loop Tourist bus stop was only 50 meters away opposite Starbucks. Kanazawa Station approximately 800-900 meters from hotel. Could open window. Separate toilet.
This was the best hotel we ever stayed while traveling in Japan. Such a great value, comfortable room, nice bath and bath product. great breakfast, good complimentary drink and unlimited coffee.
Not far from Kanazawa station and close to Omicho market and all of the sightseeing are within a walking distance.
location is 3 min. walk to the Kanazawa station. with a convenient store right at the ground floor.
Free coffee and tea at lobby. Great Coffee ☕.
location is quiet. no concern of disturb from the train track.
The bathroom is bigger than most of other Japanese hotels I stay, very comfortable for a bath.
Loved the comfort of the bed (a lot better than most other hotels in Japan!) and great size for the room at affordable rate. Location very central to walk around Kanazawa and restaurants etc. Helpful staff who were friendly and assisted us in shipping an item we forgot to our next hotel.
Loved our stay here. It feels more like an apartment than a hotel. Very comfortable. The hotel staff found my son's suica card and mailed it to us. Their kindness and help are the best part of our stay in Kanazawa.
The location is very good, as it is close to many tourist attractions in Kanazawa. The room was a decent size for a Japanese business hotel. The staff was helpful and the hotel is very modern.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The bar downstairs has a very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is located very centrally in the heart of Kanazawa. The room was pretty spacious for Japan.
The hotel is good located near Kanazawa station, fully equipped with amenities. There have many restaurants near the station. Check out via a vending machine on the 1st floor.
The hotel was more comfy for a budget hotel than I expected. The natural hot spring was amazing, and the hotel is also just a few-minute walk from Kanazawa Station.
