    Water was calm and beach was clean, perfect for kids and families. It was very quiet, not much activity. We spent several hours there. Sat under the shady trees for a picnic and then hit the water again.

    Massice construction site at the Timothy beach resort end...

    Massice construction site at the Timothy beach resort end with pile dirvers and jack hammers making terrible intrusive noise from 8.00 am through to 6.30 sometimes. A huge new marina and hotel complex is being built and the whole mountain side is in the process of being demolished. Only stay there if you are hard of hearing, the mountain drilling nose was unbearable so we moved to Sugar Bay 5 minutes walk away.

    First of all, Michael is the best host we have ever had, and we travel a lot. He picked us up from the airport, even when it was late and we had a 7-hour delay. He gave us the best recommendations for what to see on the island and rented his car at the last minute when our rental company canceled on us. The apartment is much nicer and bigger than the pictures. It has everything you need, and it's in a nice, residential area close to Frigate Bay.

    Comfortable modern and clean rooms with everything you are likely to need in the kitchen part. Proper blackout curtains. Nice toiletries. Usb charger in the plugs in our room so we did not need a converter plug. Restaurants in the hotel do a decent selection of basket meals in the 'Living Room', or pizzas, salads and other nice food in the 'Splash' bar. Gym is well-equipped. Tastefully decorated place, relaxing.

    Have stayed before but this year everything has had and still having a touch up. Great position on Frigate Bay aka the Strip. We had Mountain View room which was a bit of a hike so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues but room good with usual tea/coffee and fridge. Bathroom well equipped and everything clean. Would stay again.
