One of the fantastic places I stayed during my short time in Sri Lanka. Very friendly n supportive staff including owner. Facilities were top notch.
Nature friendly decoration n very much calm place to stay. Near to beach n all the main restaurants around the corner.

My stay was spectacular. I stayed here for a week, then returned for another 1.5 weeks. Benjamin easily accommodated my last minute request for a much needed early check in, as well as my last min booking for the second stay. I had the room on the top floor. It was beautiful and exactly like the pics. The AC worked very well and I could control it. The bathroom was very clean and nice, which is really my only requirement for a residence. The bed was super comfy and I really appreciated that there was a proper duvet. I also really like that there was a good hair dryer and it even had the attachments! Padmini and Gamini were wonderful hosts, and made me a fantastic breakfast every morning. This hotel started to feel like home. It is a few min walking distance to a small and modern shopping complex which has a good grocery store, a pharmacy, a Subway, Baskin Robbins, and Popeyes. It is a few mins walk from Mount Lavinia hotel and the beaches. The road can get a little dark at night, but I felt safe. It was very easy to call an Uber and it was walking distance to the main road, where Hotel Rd meets Dehiwala.

And the host was great at checking in to see if I was okay and if I needed anything. The home is also located near the beach is amazing and close to various amenities which is great. There are quite a few places to eat around but during this time many places were closed due to the escalation of the Corona Virus. They do offer water sport activities around the area but it was just nice to have some peace. Mount Lavinia Hotel is a very old colonial establishment. We love staying there and there is a great choice of food whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are friendly and helpful and indeed, the service is excellent.

It is a lovely and famous, coastal area in the capital. However, beach-front properties are often fully booked and are expensive. The area is quite safe for anyone. The beach is beautiful, but locals don't recommend dipping in the sea here as it is considered too polluted.

This place has lot of memories now, it is so comfortable and clean, feels home away from home. I highly appreciate Dayanjali and her Husband for taking good care of my guests. They even provided extra services which was not even included in the facilities and that shows how hospitable they are. Once again thank you so much for everything and we will definitely come back again and stay there.

It's located a bit away from the main street, and even if the train line is close, it was a quiet and not noisy surrounding. The staff and the manager was super helpful, the room was clean and in really good and modern condition. The shower was one of the best in our 3 weeks on Sri lanka. The beach with some nice restaurants is very close and only 3 minutes walk. We definitely can recommend that place
