Room was clean, spacious and nice. Location of place was good - near various eateries and close enough to central Kuala Lumpur. Traffic was a bit busy to get to hotel at most times of the day though. The hotel staff were helpful and courteous. This is a really good option for those considering a good place to stay whilst in Kuala Lumpur.

Great! The location is perfect. We and my family (family of 5) booked 3 rooms then we upgraded our rooms to executive rooms and it was worth it.The staff were very kind, friendly and accommodating. We’ve got a lounge access on the 11th floor. We had free unli coffee and cocktails and we also had our breakfast there for more privacy. Hat’s off and kudos to the staff of the executive lounge for being so kind, accommodating and for providing all our needs there. Very nice hotel. Worth the money! The location is great, walking distance to Avenue K mall, Tapak food trucks, and Petronas towers.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Else Hotel, and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even guiding us to our ride and accompanying us with umbrellas when it was raining. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay special. The breakfast at Else Hotel was fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. Our room was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and even featured a Dyson hairdryer, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of our stay was how the hotel celebrated my birthday. They surprised us with a charming decoration and a delicious birthday cake, which made the occasion even more memorable. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Else Hotel for an outstanding experience. The exceptional service, delightful amenities, and personal touches truly set it apart. Thank you, Else Hotel, for an unforgettable stay!

We stayed in Bukit Bintang area which seemed to be a tourist...

We stayed in Bukit Bintang area which seemed to be a tourist area, so lots of street foods, restaurants, souvenir shops, malls, massage and spa business. The Pavilion Mall was a popular recommendation from locals, just a Mall with brand name shops. Also, the Berjaya Times Square and The Exchange are other popular Malls. I didn't have any favorite restaurant or place because I was experiencing things as they are, and not trying to judge or compare. The general experience was great, and I would probably visit again in the future. Prices are affordable, the locals were friendly and helpful. Generally most people speak or understand English, so it is easy to get around. The exchange rate was similar across bureaus so we did not have to compare much. Just make a pick of where to change your money. The hop-on hop-off bus is a good way to see the city by day, and then the City of Lights tour by night. There seemed to be lots of vehicle traffic, so plan your time well in advance if you intend to use taxi or travel by car. For instance, it took our taxi driver a hour to get to us, when normally it would only take 2-10 minutes! Luckily we had booked the taxi for hours ahead of our flight, so we had lots of time... I got the sense that KL is set up as a tourist city and so be ready to do tourist stuff :-) Terima kasih!

Overall a nice city to visit. Easy public transport options. Locals are generally friendly and English speaking. Central Market and lunch at Envi Skyview Restaurant, level 36 Menara TA One are highly recommended. Negatives: Many beggars and prowling Arabs making it uncomfortable.

It's a wonderful city with more than hundreds of nationality gather everyday. The traffic is busy most of the time among Bukit bintang area but all international brands shops can be found in shopping malls. It's good to see that people are friendly and humble here.

KL is a beautiful city rich in history with a beautiful mix of people across Asia. There are many things to see in KL and I wish I had stayed longer to see more! The food is amazing, and you’ll have no trouble finding somewhere to eat in KL, and many people will try to help you if you need directions. Malay is definitely not a language I know, so I was grateful many people understood English. Do be aware that the city can get very warm and humid, so make sure you’re hydrated. Using Grab is the best way around the city and felt very safe using it. You might have random thunder and rain but they are short lived ( it is after all a tropical country). There are many food markets to go to as well.

It’s a walk away from the famous Alor street food market that opens until 2.00 am, and you can find moon Chinese beef roti that viral on TikTok just right across the hotel! It was cheap(ish) For a 3 star hotel, the toilet paper is better than when I was at Pacific Regency which is meant to be a 5 star hotel. So good on you Min Cott for looking after my behind better than a 5 star hotel! Please don't think of this as a stay away. It passes and is clean, would be better if they supplied slippers but it is a good place if you are extremely tight on budget
