Breakfast was really good. They offered fresh omelette, healthy food. What We really loved is the sitting area next to reception. What we didn’t expect is the waffle time, and warm soup between 19-21. It was a really nice experience.

Comfort Hotel Bodø, hotel in Bodø

Located in Bodø, Comfort Hotel Bodø offers 4-star accommodations with a fitness center and a bar.

It was quiet! And the room was dark when I pulled the shades--so important with this 24 hour sunlight. Staff were capable and friendly. I mislaid a beloved wool shawl in the dining area and the staff kindly kept it in the lost and found. And they easily stored my luggage for a little while when I had to attend a meeting. The breakfast buffet offered healthy and varied options.

Bodo was a great place with loads to do.

Bodo was a great place with loads to do. Unfortunately we couldn’t spend enough time but whatever little we spent- we explored the town in the night especially with the full daylight. In the morning we managed to complete the Keiservarden hike as well. Would have loved to spend more time and do the Salten area. Hopefully next time

We were in Bodo for just two nights and didn't wish to rush around, so we enjoyed exploring the waterfront and harbour area, watching the boats and taking in some of the restaurants and bars there. We arrived by train and left by plane - it was just great to be able to walk to the airport, which is close to the centre of the town yet we weren't disturbed by any noise from it during our stay.

Bodø is a charming, very walkable city where lots has been done to make streets accessible for pedestrians and cyclists. The city center (~ from the inner harbor to around Bankgata) is small, with a nice mix of new and traditional architecture and building styles. The streets have trees and wide sidewalks. The main shopping street, Storgata, is very nice and has a wide variety of shops that culminate in the Glashuset interior shopping area with the Koch Shopping Center attached. I can recommend Nyholmen fort as a nice picnic spot with great view of the city - it's easy to reach it by bicycle. Also recommend the Jektefartsmuseum, which is about 4 km away from the city center. On my next visit, I would stay a day or so longer and maybe get a rental car one or two days, to be able to go to Kjerringøy. But would also rent a bike again, as well, since getting around Bodø on bike is super easy.

The city does not offer anything special to see/experience.

The city does not offer anything special to see/experience. The seashore is packed with huge hotels and other building plus boats thus have to go out of the city to enjoy the senery. I believe most of the visitors use Bodo as transfer point to Lofoten. City is clean and has all the necessary services available. Airport just a few minutes from the center.

Such a wonderful place, we loved the area and the lack of commercialism. We enjoyed exploring the town and the aircraft museum. We hired a car and visited Mjelle Beach up the coast and the maelstrom which I would highly recommend.

Small, friendly city. Lots of places to eat and drink. Great natural attractions not too far away; like Saltstraumenbrua, with the fastest running water and whirlpools. Also, the Norwegian Avaition Musem in the noprth of the city is well worth a vist if you have an interest in aircraft and military history.

Great little place to rest my head! I came in from Lofoten Islands late at night, so the self check-in was very convenient and easy to navigate. This was only about 10 minutes walk from the ferry port, another plus coming from a long ferry ride. The price was excellent and very affordable for Norway! Beds were very comfortable for a dorm, and I roomed with some really lovely girls and saw the Northern Lights that night! Will definitely use this as a stop over point next time on Bodø.

This is a nice little hotel with all the amenities. I was here for just one night to catch the Hurtigruten ferry the next day. I enjoyed being able to walk easily to the city center and the ferry terminal in just a few minutes. The staff was helpful and friendly. Although I checked out before breakfast, the hotel packed me a couple of nice sandwiches to take with me. I would stay here again if I'm ever back in Bodo.

Very friendly staff who prepared a to-go breakfast for us, as we had to check out very early the next morning. The hotel provides guests with waffles and soups in the evening for free in the small lounge area. Our room was fairly small, but comfortable and quiet. Nice location close to the commercial areas at the harbor in Bodo, and walkable to the airport in about 10-15 minutes.

Great location, place and owners. Unfortunately only crushed for the night in one of the worst winter storms past 30 years in North Norway and hence unable explore the surrounding of the accommodation. It was our 10th visit to Norway and again unable see Saltstraumen this time staying next to it b/o the weather., Would stay again and recommend to other.

Nice non-corporate hotel in central Bodø. Warm welcome at reception especially after having to cancel previous night due to flight delay. Good communication from owner. Breakfast up to usual Norwegian standard, didn't have opportunity to try the bar. Room average sized, very clean and comfy despite miserable weather outside.

Great location to trains and walking around town. Loved the comfortable lounge and bar area with fireplace downstairs for relaxing.

The hotel is close to ferry terminal, which is important for us to wait in line for the early ferry. The hotel itself has perfect location, near sea and have modern decoration and good restaurant. However since we request room to be close to each other, we did not get the full sea view rooms

The hotel was impressive, so light and airy with comfortable modern furnishings. The afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast were all excellent with a good range of food. This made it very good value for money as it would have cost a lot more to eat in a restaurant.

It's like a standard hotel even if it's adjacent to a hospital. It was my first time to stay in such kind of facility and it's a nice experience. The room and bathroom were spacious , though the air conditioning wasn't cold enough during a hot Norway summer.
