A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War II. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.
Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.
Other cultural features are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.
Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centers than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.
Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

Obviously mostly rebuilt due to being completely almost wiped off of the map during the 2nd World War so not as many original old buildings. But warsaw is an amazing city to stay inwith plenty to see & explore. The rebuilt town is beautifully designed to look authentic. Great restaurants, shops & museums.
Great walks along the river with plenty of river boat bars & music.

Live, vibrant developing city. You cannot see everytning for a weekend and we felt like time wasn't enough.
Visited The old town (Stare miasto) and going there through Saxon garden and Tomb of the fallen soldier, Presidential palace.
Must visit The royal castle, Lazienki park, Vistula river bank.
The Palace of culture and science is right at the center, a massive building and great view from it.
And the center itself is like a memorial since it was part of the Warsaw ghetto, you can see markings as a reminder where the wall was.
Great beer bars and long list of local beer and food.
As a foreigner I can say they have developed, cheap and integrated local transport (bus/train/metro) so it is easy to go and navigate from point to point.
The locals that we've asked for info were all heplful and it looks safe to walk around at night unlike some EU capital cities to the west side.

Very nice city, both historical side and modern.
Very nice city, both historical side and modern. Spent my time mostly in old town, which is straight out of a fairytale. Could be more crowded in summer, but very relaxed during May. Many nice restaurants, most of the waiters/waitresses speak enıugh English to guide you when taking the order. Very lively with young people hanging out happily in the streets. Very easy to walk.

This is a very walkable city with many interesting attractions. I visited Lazienki Park which had the Chopin monument and also the Lazienki Palace. The Old Town also had many restaurants serving local food such as schnitzel and stewed pork ribs with sauerkraut. It was also great to go up the Palace of Culture and see the view of the city from there. I enjoyed walking around the mall located next to the central station.

Warsaw is the great surprise!
Warsaw is the great surprise! Far above my expectation, great architecture, perfectly clean and organised city. Plenty of great parks and green areas, long and massive boulevards...Great place to visit.
Only bad is I couldn't recognised lifestyle vibe. Real Metropolis but no metropolitan vibe unfortunately.
All in all, I recommend this place.
There is a note that checking is until 12, sadly our flight was delayed but they will waited for us to make sure that we have everything, and they explain what we need to do, where to go.
Place was huge and clean.
Location was amazing, 10-15min and you are in the center of Warsaw. Underground is 2 min away, shops, restaurant everything close. I would definitely go back to this apartment, we took out friends first time to Poland and they are now in love with Warsaw!
The location is very convenient for a one night stay when crossing Poland. Of course the location is not bad even if You want to visit the old town and wanna go there on foot. The next day before leaving we went of foot to visit Lazienki park.?
The room was very small, but it's that chain - if we wanted a bigger room we would have chosen Ibis Styles.
Breakfast was OK - there was to chose from and the coffee was really good.
Pretty much a brand new hotel. Right on the river. Staff was extreemely helpful and the location was close to a number of good restaurants. An upscale mall is just next door, as well as a good looking steak resto. A 15 minute walk to the Old Town. Love Warsaw! Great food, nice people. Loved the Mexican restaurants around town. The herbal teas and pastries in Old Town are not to miss.
Breakfast was also very good.
Amazing in Downtown Warsaw Poland: Don’t miss this apartment. Thoughtfully decorated, good lighting, everything functional. 3 separate rooms in such medium sized area organized functionally. Large inside courtyard with trees and children play park. absolutely peaceful even being in the downtown area. Excellent key pick up arrangements. There was no occasion to call apartment manager at all. Truly fascinating.
This is a nice hotel close to the airport. I stayed here for a few days when another hotel did not meet my expectations and i left. Its not far from the city, and close to the airport. You have a short walk to the tram and then a short tram ride to get to the center of town, old town is a bit farther away by number 172 bus. (175?) Breakfast was VERY good, tasty and many things to choose from.
Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was very nice and helped with everything I needed. It is located in the very city center close to the old town but also to many nice shops, bars and restaurants. It has a bus stop literally im front of the hotel which is very convenient. The breakfast was also very good. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Warsaw.
It is a very nice hotel, with rooms that are functional, modern and well tended, coffee machine etc. The decoration is agreable and the views to modern Warsaw worth the stay. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding in terms of variety (fish, viennoiseries, fruits, etc) and the desk personnel smile, which is not that frequent in Poland.
- the owner made sure our last day in Poland is comfortable. Amazing communication and considerate good person
- best location. Arguably better than our last location that was in kredytowa. This is close to so many amazing restaurants and walkable from old town and walking to bus tram etc you name it ! Very easy to move around
This is an amazing hotel, one of the best ones in Europe we have stayed for this value of money. A new hotel, lovely design. We stayed in 15th floor and the view was amazing. We even extended our stay because we loved this hotel! Highly recommend when visiting Warsaw.
The old town and main walking street is approx 2km.
After traveling for 3 days, I arrived tired and the staff were amazing. I was happy to see a Ukrainian staff member at the welcome desk, Poland and the Polish people are amazing and Ukraine and Poland are brothers and sisters. I enjoyed staying at this hotel and know anyone reading this would enjoy it too. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great location, kind and helpful staff. This was our splurge hotel on the last night of a whirlwind trip. The hotel is located across from the tomb of the unknown soldiers and beautiful gardens and so close to old town Warsaw. It was an easy bus ride from the airport and plush accommodations.
The hotel is located in the centre of the new town, if you like new Warsaw, you will find the location ideal. Personally, I would prefer a hotel in the centre of the Old Town or even closer to it. As for the interior of the hotel, it was quite good, with tasteful spaces.
It is our „go to“ hotel when in Warsaw! The biggest breakfast selection I have ever seen in this hotel class #veganfriendly It has an underground parking, the rooms are specious and staff very warm welcoming. It’s in a nice walking distance to the old town.
The loacton in the old town and the classic syle of the hotel is excellent for those whou prefer the old world charm. Outside of the old town (which was completey re-built of after the WWII from ruinds) Warsaw feels a rather inpersonal metropolis.
Hotel is very centrally located in Warsaw. It is very convenient to reach the old town as well as centrally-located shopping areas. Though, sometimes it is problematic to find car parking place on the street. The breakfast was very good.
The hotel and the staff are amazing, professional!! This is my second time in Warsaw and second time at ibis Warszawa Centrum. Very happy!! Will stay there during my next trip to Poland. Highly recommend!!
The location was incredible. If you are facing the iconic buildings, it is probably the best hotel for this kind of view of the skyline. Walking distance to the old town and to the new town.
It was a definitive nickel and dime hostel.
No free tea or coffee

Location near old town of Warsaw. Good, probably even elite, building (first time see Aston Martin parked not near 5-6 Star hotel, but near our house).
