The location was very close to the beach. It was a bit noisy in the evenings because restaurants and nightlife were literally right outside the door. Leca has a beautiful long beach and a variety of restaurants including one 2-Michelin star restaurant.

I felt very well there due to the room I got in the first floor with view on the garden where it is also possible to sit and relax. There is a small shared kitchen and fridge too. In the calm surroundings you can have a short walk over the port bridge to the metro station at Mercado de Matosinhos (which brings you to Porto city centre) or in the other direction to the beaches of Leça da Palmeira.

If you have a car, you will be at a 15 min ride from Porto, too. The apartment was extremely clean, the sound insulation was good, and the facilities very comfortable overall.
