Spa and pool were so nice :) STaff excellent. Breakfast was really really nice to sit and look out the big windows at the Portuguese countryside. Fancier then we normally stay in but got winter rates.

The location is very good, near the Polytechnic where I was with the job, being also near the city center by foot. Very clean, each day the towels were changed, also the view to the castle from the restaurant was amazing.

The location is reasonably good, it's a short walk to a Lidl store, bus stops, and a McDonald's nearby. The staff are extra friendly, which made the stay much more comfortable. I also loved the cleaning lady who was very talkative despite not knowing English and us not speaking Portuguese. She even hugged us goodbye! The room was quite clean, I give them that! I also appreciate the parking — there are spots available on a few side streets, and if your view is on the castle (magnificent), you can also keep an eye on the car.
