Located in Batalha, Monte do Mosteiro CountryHouse offers accommodations with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. We were 3 adults in a comfortable 2 bedroom cottage. Everything was excellent, the heat worked very well. Nice shower. There is a kitchen shared by all the cottages, which we didn't use since we wanted to eat the the nearby Monestary of Leitao. The parking was secure. Very cordial and helpful host.

Located in Batalha, 14 miles from Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, Casa da Lena has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. WE LOVED THE STAY!! To start off with the things most important to travelers: the rooms are very clean, they provide many (more then you will ever need) towels that are extra big, there’s a kitchen so you could fix up a breakfast, and an electric kettle with cups are both in the room and in the kitchen. The AC was there, too. The nature in the area is great and the air is clean, the town center only a 5 minute drive away. The owner was extra nice and welcoming from the very beginning. He told us everything we wanted to know, and answered any questions we had. If you are ever wondering where to visit next, make sure to ask him, he will tell you about a variety of options. The highlight of our stay, we also had the opportunity to use the grill, all the while the owner helped us set it up and use it. We stayed for only two days but became good friends with the owner and his family. By the second day we truly felt at home. Definitely staying there again!

DIFFERENT HOTEL DEFINITELY!!! This one is the worst ever! poor location, high prices for the location and quality! Bad SPA and Wellness timings and access! No management thinking and staff playing around!
The monastery / cathedral was great. And there was a great little flea market Sunday morning in the adjacent parking lot focused on antiques. I had dinner in an excellent restaurant across from my hotel, just behind the monastery and was really rather impressed. And of course Super Bock was available everywhere.
Lovely place to visit. The monastry is impressive and the surroudings are very nice. It is a quiet place to stay 1 or 2 days. Taking a coffee and portuguese pastries on a terrace, in front of the monastry is very delightful...
Even though most people visit Batalha because of the monastery, the city is beautiful with a very good infrastructure, very clean, good restaurants and many places to relax. The city is worth for visiting. I recommend to make a trip there.
Batalha is best known for the monastery of course but the town has a very pleasant appeal on it's own. We were very lucky in that there was the best music provided by a Portuguese military band the evening that we were there. It seems there is often entertainment in the town square.
Lovely quaint, quiet town full of wonderful surprises. We ate at VISE VERSA. The food was excellent, the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and accommodating towards certain allergies and super friendly. We discovered many quaint stores.

Just as the name promised, our rooms were directly across a lovely plaza from the monastery, with incredible views. There is no reception desk, but the host met us at the door soon after we arrived to give us the keys and answer questions. The room was comfortable and spacious, and we were very happy staying there for one night.

Host was super friendly and talkative. Bathroom was really clean and looked nice. Room was small but very comfy and well equiped. I would come back for a longer stay if I had a chance. Really great place with space to park the car and the kitchen equped enough to cook yourself.
Batalha
The space is really cute with a great outdoor space. Loved having the wood burning stove as the weather was damp and cool. The older couple who checked us in were very sweet, even though we didn't speak the same language.
It was super clean and very extensive on the tourist information provided around Batalha (the book the host had prepared for the guests).
The spa was great given that it was only €8. I stayed mid week and it was basically empty. A great place to relax and work.
