Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.
Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.
For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.
As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.
Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

First of all, public transportation is clean and very compatible with google maps (although it gets confused if you try walking anywhere). Everyone is super friendly and helpful; one guy actually chased us down out of the MRT station onto the street once he realized he gave us incorrect directions.
There are of course a million things to do and see. It was all beautiful and made for fantastic pictures. Just look up activities through booking.com/Klook.com (Headout is a pain) and it will be worth your time.
Food was amazing! There are so many different types of cuisines at your disposal with matched or slightly lower rates in USD. There are 7Elevens and vending machines everywhere with lower prices and great snacks/drinks.
WARNING: If you have thick thighs, do NOT wear shorter than mid-thigh shorts! Unless you are used to intense humidity and heat, you'll be uncomfortable and chafe.

It was one of the best experience I had so far.
It was one of the best experience I had so far. The beauty of the city, friendliness of the people, safety and clean. You can find everything: old and new. Food markets - you can eat and eat again and again. A lot of perfect specialty coffee places. Very practical to use public transport, and helps to reach different areas of the city.

Singapore is a very clean, very well presented and safe city. We stayed central to Fort Canning, Orchard road, Bay Marina and a little further to Gardens at the Bay.
We walked everywhere but took the local bus on the odd occasion it was wet, this was again clean and easy to use.
The gardens and flower dome were fantastic and along with the Cloud Forest made a great day out.
Shopping is great and the malls are a sight to see.
No complaints from me...

I am a native-born Singaporean who is currently living in Paris. Went back to SG this time to visit family and settle some stuff. Singapore is a great place to visit, always in motion, always with something new and exciting. Saying that, Spore is very different from the rest of SE Asia, and caters more to the chic traveller, with a penchant for luxury and gracious living. Doing Spore on a shoestring budget will be next to impossible, even if you try to live like the Sporeans- the cost of living is very high (along with the salaries!), only public transport can be considered ‘cheap’, or rather, cheaper than in Europe. Visit Spore for a real East meets West experience, and enjoy the ‘Rojak’ of different foods, cultures, languages that make up this unique city state. In addition, security guaranteed, even if you’re a woman walking around alone at 3 am! If you’re a foodie, SG is definitely the place to be!

It was amazing with plenty to see and do.
It was amazing with plenty to see and do. The light shows at Clark Quay, Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay are all worth seeing. The Gardens by the bay are a must see, but make sure you pick a nice day and not when they're doing maintenance.
I was there when Taylor Swift was playing at the Sands, it made Singapore really busy and everywhere you went one of her songs was playing, best to avoid if you're not a fan.
I was there for 4 nights, 5 days and found it to be too long, I'm not in to shopping, but if you are then the orchard road is a must.
The open air food places are brilliant, so much to choose from and of course, no trip to Singapore would be complete without a Singapore Sling in Raffles.

Singapore is just a big built up city.
Singapore is just a big built up city. I didn't like it when I lived there 30 years ago and now it's even more overdeveloped. It is a safe city and food is great so that's wonderful but I just don't find it interesting.
My stay at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel was exceptional! Located centrally on Orchard Road, it was incredibly convenient. The staff were attentive and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The room was stylish and very comfortable, with every detail meticulously maintained. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of both local and international dishes. The pool and spa provided perfect relaxation after exploring the city. Highly recommend for a luxurious and hassle-free experience in Singapore!
The loft and premier rooms were beautifully designed and decorated with a lot of thought. The hotel is a short walking distance to Jalan Besar and Rochar MRT stations. Rizwana was exceptional and a true credit to Wanderlust. She assisted us with our rooms, upgraded my daughter’s room, gave us a lot of necessary information along with the nearest clinic for ART (antigen rapid test). The service I’d received was far better than any luxury hotels I’d stayed in. This will be my go to hotel whenever I’m in Singapore.
Great landmark hotel that looks different to the other hotels in the business district of Singapore that offers 2 pools, a restaurant and 2 areas for breakfast depending if you had a club room or not, (I recommend the club rooms).
Room was well maintained, WiFi is OK and the room was cleaned daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I experienced the restaurant too on the 27th floor which was very nice.
Club room guests can make use of the happy hour between 6-8pm every night for free!
The location in downtown is ideal. The Shenton Way MRT station is nearby. Taxi is readily available outside of the lobby. We got upgraded to a suite which is probably bigger than an average apartment in Singapore. It came equipped with everything you can imagine including a full-size fridge with a freezer, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, cooking range & oven, and even a rice cooker! What else can one ask for!!!
It's a 5-star hotel without the 5-star price.
Highly recommended!
We have stayed at so many hotels in Singapore. Royal Plaza on Scotts was by far the VERY BEST. The reception staff were very courteous and check in was fast. The room was large and very clean. The king size bed was wonderful. The toilet had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel was superb. Right in the heart of the shopping and also great places to eat. We truly enjoyed our stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts.
Good value, interesting colorful neighborhood with busy local restaurants within a red light district area but safe as this is Singapore, I booked this accommodation instead of sleeping at the airport or at one of the airport lounges or hotels. So glad I did it this way, got to see the city and was able to get some sleep. Friendly receptionist. Use ear plugs. They do wake up calls. Taxi to airport was about 33 Singapore dollars. About 20 min to the airport.
We thought this hotel was a great value for the money, compared to other hotels in Singapore. We loved the boutique feel to the hotel. The staff was amazing to our 4 year old. Some of them knew her name and would always talk to her when we were coming or going. It's in a convenient location between a couple MRT stations so we were easily able to get to and from the airport via MRT and anywhere else we wanted to go. It's steps from a Hawker center as well.
Our recent five-day stay at Le Grove in Singapore was exceptional. The spacious apartment provided the perfect retreat for relaxation after exploring the city. The hotel's shuttle service made it easy to access metros and bus stations, while the complimentary weekday breakfast was a delightful perk. The hotel's cleanliness and attentive staff further enhanced my experience. I highly recommend Le Grove to any tourist visiting Singapore.
All the staff are friendly and accomodating, Jannah is really nice as well as the others. I love the location, as a first timer in Singapore, I manage to visit nice places using public transportation (train) as it is just walking distance from the hotel. They have washing machine in the room and things for cooking. Pool is superb, gym and sauna. They also have massage chair that is good after long day of walking.
Location is good. Cheap compare to other hotels in Singapore. They also let us leave our luggages even after checkout. They also replenish the coffee and towels everyday. If you are planning to use Grab/zig as mode of transportarion, this the best spot as it is at the center of the attractions. Water pressure is also good with hot/cold options. 7 11 everywhere too.
It is an Ibis hotel, so do not expect any 4 or 5 star hotel. However, it is clean, very comfortable, good sized room for 2 people - much bigger than other Ibis hotels in Singapore. Value for money is excellent. There are many excellent restaurants around and bus transportation is very convenient. MRT is about 10 minute walk. Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful hotel, big room, very clean. Nice bathroom. Breakfast buffet very good. Location across from a mall with restaurants and shopping.
Also close to the hop on hop off bus which we used to go to Marina Sands and other stops around Singapore.
fantastic property, it is by far one of the best looking hotels in Singapore. We loved the greenery everywhere, the pool area is breathtaking. Housekeeping were great and the location was super convenient.
Finding affordable accommodations is difficult in Singapore, and YaJu Hotel was a good place to stay for the price. Restaurants and bus were within easy walking distance.
The room was clean and appropriately sized for Singapore (small, but nicer bed than some similar priced hotels). Very great location, close to everything.
