It was a nice hotel. Definitely better than the Holiday Express Inns in the U.S. The room isn’t the biggest but it’s cozy enough for one person. I actually really liked it. It’s also in a very walkable location.

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.
Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.
For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.
As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.
Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Location is very convenient to Chinatown stop of Singapore MRT (stop DT 19 of Blue line; stop NE 4 of Purple line). After carding out, head toward Exit A. Take the escalator up (one level) and make a U-turn, the sidewalk is New Bridge Street. Right turn, Mosque St. is about 1/2 block away. Another right turn, hotel is less than 1/2 way down the block.

Singapore is fantastic, the only really safe destination in Asia and safer than many Western cities.
Public transport is some of the best in the world.
The museums and parks are outstanding.
The food everywhere at all levels is excellent.
Shopping, while not as good as before the pandemic, is very good.
Access to airport is very good and taxis are not too expensive.
If the Government will do more to encourage small shops to reopen post Pandemic, the atmosphere of Singapore will improve even more.

Fabulous garden city state, beautifully green, with great architecture both heritage and modern. Striking meshing of modern superstructures and urban green spaces.
Well worth a visit. Clean, safe, vibrant, multi-cultural.
So much to see and do.
Very well organised. Great public transport and taxi options, buses excellent and very reasonable. MRT clean, well laid out and reasonable, tourist passes available for various numbers of days allowing multiple trips per day, card refundable at the end of your stay.
Friendly. Helpful locals.
Supertree Grove, the Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands observation deck, Bird Paradise and the Orchid gardens at the National Botanic Garden all well worth visiting, as well as general downtown area, Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Sentosa island and the SEA aquarium.
On my next trip I'd probably avoid Nasi Lemak, but I'd definitely have Laksa again!

I love Singapore, my 2nd visit. We stayed there for 10 days. Its very place wherever you go and getting around is very easy. While we were at the airport waiting for our ride, we saw passengers going to the bathroom, changing, and just leave their suitcase unattended. Nobody even came near to check on their suitcase. We went to several night hawker neighborhood, they all taste good to me. Gardens by the Bay light show was stunning and is one of my favorite spots

It was really nice not having to push all our activities and viewings into a few days.. 10 days was just the right amount of time to do everything without being hurried and time poor. After 30 odd years since our last visit it was great to see how the country had improved leaps and bounds. Loved everything, shopping, gardens, tours. , and most people ready to help us when we were lost or unsure. Our accommodation at the Ibis had everything you needed, pool, meals, shuttle bus and friendly staff.

Singapore is always my fav for the variety of entertainment , Food, cleanliness , Shopping and so many ever changing tourist places. Mustafa centre is always a madness to see the volume of stock and product variety. Boat Quay my fav place for an enjoyable evening.
I think the value for money is relative, hotels in Singapore are generally a lot more expensive than the hotels in Malaysia so comparatively your money gets you less in Singapore. That said, given that it is a budget hotel the location is excellent as there is a lot of local cheap food in the area and with a lot of choices. Our room wasn’t perfectly clean and the bathroom was a little smelly, but given that it was budget, it was still good enough. The beds were comfy and the air con was in good condition so we slept very well.
We stay regularly at this hotel (and would normally rate it an 8) because of the following:
good location - close to airport, MRT, buses and Joo Chiat neighbourhood; big rooms with plenty of storage (esp. for Singapore); inexpensive (esp. when booked well in advance); good internet; very nice pool; facilities for washing and drying clothes (pay to use); staff are friendly and any issues very quickly attended to
I really enjoyed this hotel. Although the building may not look like a great hotel from outside, the room is newly renovated, nice design, smell and very clean, Atkinson perfumery., It has a nice swimming pool. The area around is nice and very close to Clarke Quay.
Breakfast could be better but overall it’s very good value for money. I would rate it highly, especially that i saw quite few hotels in Singapore.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also after (early) checkout we could go back in because of some unforeseen circumstances. The location is great in the lively Chinatown, but still was quiet at night. The communication was good and they helped us with our requests. Singapore is generally more on the expensive side, but I think this relatively cheap compared to similar hotels.
The amazing pools and how family friendly the hotel is. From check in to the day we left, service from all staff was warm and friendly. The room that we booked weren’t available, hotel offered complimentary breakfast and late checkout. Not many hotels in Singapore provides bidet in their toilets, the Toto Bidet made the stay even more awesome.
It's a decent hotel, much better than other "budget" hotels you can find in Singapore.
The room I lived in is very bright with 2 windows. The room size is not bad as a budget hotel. There is a desk and a chair with a roof light above. Not bad for working remotely.
If your room is in the rear end, there is no road noise at all.
The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient - near restaurants/cafe, 7/11, and bus stop. Hotel was also clean.
Like most budget hotels in Singapore, the shower and toilet do not have a barrier, so the toilet can easily get wet after a shower. However, feel free to ask for an extra floor towel if needed.
The staff was really kind and always there to help. Everything was clean and comfortable even to its a capsule hotel. We had a really pleasant stay. Hotels in Singapore are really expensive so if you’re traveling on a bigger and want to save some money, this is a really good option.
After a very assertive request on my part for a better room it was all good. I strongly suggest you give the guests the room they asked for and not try to put them in inferior rooms. Just remember : there are 100s of hotels in Singapore to choose from.
Location was good and staff were friendly. Super close
To 2 MRT stations and a bus stop. It was a cheap stay compared to other hotels in Singapore. If you need somewhere just to sleep and are busy most of the day then it’s fine.
All the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was larger than most other hotels in Singapore (as far as we could find from our search). The bathroom was spacious. The pools were lovely, there is a great kids’ water play area.
Very nice and spacious 2 rooms unit. The front office and concierge personnel were very courteous and helpful. Great location, not too congested area and very convenient for some groceries and food court right across the hotel 👍
We asked and got connected rooms for our family of 5. Very comfortable rooms and nice hotel in a great location. Special shout out to Mr Kenny the front office personnel who checked us in efficiently and comfortably.
The location is great, with a bus stop at the doorstep and an mrt station nearby.
Staff are pleasant and helpful
