A city full of culture and charm. So many interesting things to see, do and experience. The only thing that was a bummer for me was that I arrived on Sunday and most of the shops, cafes and restaurants were closed by 8. Small city with good wine, coffee and food.
Small city with good wine, coffee and food. Prices are low compared to western europe but higher than the rest of the slavic world. There's not a huge amount to do but it's well-connected to Ljubljana and the Austrian border. Would recommend coming here in the summer-time. There are also fewer hostel options for those backpacking, the market is more geared towards hotel stays. Beautiful and cozy city, ideal for walking as the center is compact. I loved the old buildings and narrow streets that add to the romantic atmosphere.
