This was my second time in Radisson Blue, Sisli. Great experience again. Prime location in the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Upon checking in, we were offered an upgrade. After entering into our room, we noticed the room is an smoking allowable type of room and hence the amount of smell was unbearable for us. After contacting the reception, we were immediately offered a replacement and they also moved the welcome cake which they had provided for my wife's birthday to our new room. One thing that sets this hotel apart from others is their breakfast. It's exceptional! both in quality of the items and variety. It makes an amazing start to your day during your stay. I'll defenitelly come back again.

This was a tiny but very clean cubicle. Fortunately, I was near the common bathroom shared by men and women, which only had one regular toilet and one squat toilet. I did not have problems waiting for it though.

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendor and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.
Take a stroll through the historic center or the busy Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.
If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.
Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for a vacation in Istanbul.

We can only provide a review on the Fatih district of Istanbul which is a city with historical roots and can offer a diverse program. In general, you cannot go wrong with visiting any of the historical buildings. There are also a myriad of restaurants with a good view.
Nonetheless, Istanbul is not a city for a long stay. The streets are overcroweded with tourists and you have to pay high prices for anything (even after long bargaining). For instance, if you want to eat at Galata Bridge and enjoy the nice view, you start with food prices 4x higher than other restaurants in Fatih. We could lower the price to 1.5x-2x of the normal prices. All these things are less relaxing and after a weekend we were exhausted and happy to leave the city. We might come back however to explore other parts.

Very nice and pleasant town, full of historical attractions, Hagia Sofia Topkapi palace, blue mosque. I also recommend to visit Kadikoy district on the Asian side, it's very nice. It's possible to get around Istanbul on foot and by public transport: trams, buses and boats. Sultanhamet district is the best choice to stay, as it's very close to main attractions. Tourists should beware of taxi drivers in Beyoglu district, some of them try to cheat.

All was good, experienced a lot.
All was good, experienced a lot.
Restaurants and food very expensive (specially meat). Entrance to museums and other very, very pricey.
Restaurants can be annoying when walking past, they try to persuade you to eat at their restaurant and make it obvious when you decline.

Extremely busy jam
Extremely busy jam
Packed local and tourist areas, lots of scammers around especially the ice cream stalls (always confirm the price before allowing them to start playing the ice cream game)!
Never stop to talk to anyone especially if they ask the time! It’s a scam to get you to stop and they’ll force you to give them some money (they wouldn’t let go of my arm until I paid them!).
However some local honest and fantastic places to eat include Hocapasa pidecisi and Tahriri Koftacisi in Sultanahmet.
Also loved the street food (gozeleme, wet burger, pides), didn’t get to try the baked potatoes in Taksim.
Tran system very good but jam packed busy most of the time. Some people not very mindful or respectful of a queue system.
Airport staff not very helpful.
Entrance to Topkapi and Dolmabahçe palace very expensive for tourists and you need to leave a large deposit in £ or $ or photo ID if you want to use the audio guides.
We enjoyed the Fatih mosque and Eyüp Suptan much more.

Istanbul still is a place-to-see but is facing challenges from heavy traffic (became worse compared to previous experiences) and high prices due to inflation.
Taxi drivers try to cheat for fares, be careful here.
Public transport is ok but very crowdy, buses are stuck in traffic in critical areas.

I was visiting for the first time Istanbul.
I was visiting for the first time Istanbul. I can say now it’s my favourite place to visit and I would recommend for everyone at least one time in your lifetime to go there, the Blue mosque, Hagia Sofia and other places touched my heart, loved it ❤️
We stayed for 7 nights.
- The hotel was nice, quiet even though it was next to taksim square
- the stuff was very polite and willing to help with everything we needed
- the breakfast was good and tasty, even though it could be a little bit more varied.
- the room was very comfortable and clean, with nice view. The cleaning lady was keeping our room clean and tidy every day.
Overall, one of the best hotels I've stayed. Simple but with all the necessities. Next time I visit Istanbul, I'm definitely staying there again.
The hotel was great, very convenient location close to Taksim square. The hotel is very clean.
The room is very big and bright, there’re many TV channels, including Russian. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The host speaks fluent Russian and helped me a lot during my stay, told be about best places to visit, helped to charge the transportation card, and called the taxi to the airport at discount rate.
I enjoyed my stay a lot and next time in Istanbul will choose this hotel to stay again for sure.
First of all, let me say that the hotel is in the very heart of Istanbul. From here, it is possible to walk to Taksim Square in just 10 minutes. If you come to Taksim, it can be said that Istanbul is yours. The hotel is in a perfect location. Breakfast is quite good. The employees are very good, especially ALI - we thank you very much, as Azerbaijanis. Thank you very much for your support. In short, anyone who wants to spend the night in an ideal place and walk around Istanbul can choose this place.
This property is one of the bestest hotels to stay at Istanbul. The best part of this hotel is the owner himeself Fuad. He was exceptional with his services and he cared for us way too much. Every other time he was present to cater us. The rooms are newly renovated and clean. Washrooms are superb clean and all the facilities are there which are in 5 star hotel. I had a great trip and thank you Taksim Larissa for making it a memorable one. My next visit will be sure this hotel again.
Location is exceptional, it's in taksim square and at the same time we didn't hear much noise.
Different kinds of transportation is available and so close.
Aras was very helpful and kind and let us extend our stay and changed our room to a double room which was perfect and had everything we needed
The room was spacious unlike a lot of hotels with the same budget.
Totally recommened if you want to be in the middle of Istanbul on a budget and enjoy your stay in a nice place.
This property has almost everything one wants during travel. I stayed with my family for 04 nights. we were warmly welcomed and offered best hospitality possible. location is great. Just 02 minutes walk to Taksim Square. everything is nearby for daily life.
Hotel manager, Mehmet, is such a nice guy. He arranged a bosphorus cruise dinner trip and airport transfer at very good rate. He offered all kind of assistance wherever required. Highly recommend for stay.
There is nothing to complaing about. From their location to staff, breakfast buffet, room, cleanliness, everything was top notch. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I definitely will be whenever I'm visiting Istanbul in the future. Their staff was really helpful and informative. They can give suggestion on when and where to go. I feel like I'm staying at a 5 stars hotel with their hospitality. This hotel also has the best rooftop view
The hosts and owner were very friendly and hospitable, treating guests like friends and family. I also really liked the ambiance of the hotel as well as how the rooms were decorated. It is also very strategically located as it is just steps from Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. And even if it is so near the busy and crowded area of Taksim, I still felt very safe and secure. I would definitely stay here again whenever I am in Istanbul.
We arrived at 7:30AM, and they checked us in and gave us our room immediately instead of making us wait until 2PM, without any additional charge. After a long flight, it was very much appreciated. There are many restaurants and convenient shops nearby. From the Istanbul airport, we took the bus iST 16 directly to Taksim Square, and walked only 150m to the hotel. Staff was very helpful helping us getting the taxi.
Outstanding experience at Taksim area! The staff were incredibly helpful, making my stay unforgettable. Omer’s assistance truly made my trip memorable, he organized tours flawlessly, ensuring I got the best out of Istanbul.!
The hotel’s ideal location near Taksim Square was convenient, and the cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional. Highly recommend staying here!
I loved this hotel, which is 5 minutes walking distance from Taksim Square. The staff is very polite and helpful. The best part is that it is a family business. Next time I come to Istanbul, I will definitely stay in this hotel with my family. It was very clean and nice. Thank you very much to Mr. Gökhan and Mr. Orhan who helped with everything.
Near Taksim square, near airport bus stop, very helpful management, street not noisy
All questions was resolved very quickly
Tea/coffee and kettle in the room
We asked for extra beds and get bigger room instead
The best managers I've ever seen in hotels really - helped us 24 hours a day
Thanks a lot, next stay in Istanbul in this hotel!
This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood, although near Taksim Square and a great location for exploring a section of Istanbul we had not spent enough time in when exploring Sultanahmet three weeks earlier.
The staff were friendly and the room spotless at a reasonable price. The included breakfast was great.
We would stay here again.
Fantastic hotel, beautiful room, comfortable, has elevator, and staff is extraordinary and understands English very well. The location is perfect, right next to Istiklal street, Metro, and the Beyoglu tunnel, 5 minutes from tram, 15 minute walk from Taksim Square. Perfect place to stay in Istanbul.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. Very close to the Taksim square. One can enjoy lively atmosphere of Istanbul. Everything is within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, fast food and Turkish delight around the hotel. A good value for the money.
The best location in Istanbul. This hotel is on Taksim square, very close to shops, restaurants, kebab shops, bars. Great for taxis and buses. exceptional breakfast, so much choice. We really enjoyed our stay here a lot. Bedrooms comfortable with great view.
The location of the hotel was near galata tower and taksim square made it easier exploring that area of Istanbul. All the staff members were welcoming, very helpful and always available, Ali and Kadir made my stay very confortable.
The location is excellent, being close to Taksim Square, and the hotel itself is stunning. However, the rooms are small for accommodation, which is typical of many hotels in Istanbul.
