ISG Sabiha Gökçen Airport Hotel, hotel in Istanbul

This hotel offers modern rooms on the site of Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport. It provides a luggage transfer service. Outdoor parking is available in our hotel.

Right next to the hotel. Clean and quiet, apart from the police siren chasing away vehicles from the departure area I suppose. If that's something that would bother you, I suggest you ask for a room facing some other direction. Otherwise great!

FAQs about hotels in Istanbul

The Best of Asia and Europe

The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. The amazing Old Town and the Sultanahmet are home to iconic Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia. More history is hidden in the Topkapi Palace, where you can glimpse the splendor and opulence of Turkey’s Ottoman heritage.

Take a stroll through the historic center or the busy Taksim Square before watching the sun set behind countless mosques and minarets. Local fish markets and numerous restaurants lining the bridge to Galata offer the Golden Horn’s daily catch.

If you prefer the fine art of bargaining to fine art, lose yourself in the Grand Bazar and maybe you’ll emerge with a hookah, some Turkish coffee, or even a carpet. The Spice Bazar further immerses you in the sights, smells, and tastes of Turkish culture.

Getting to Istanbul is an easy trip from Ataturk International Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel on the Asian side or a budget hostel in Taksim Square, Booking.com has over 1,000 great accommodations for a vacation in Istanbul.

A truly meeting point of the world!

A truly meeting point of the world! Great experience here! A visually pleasing architecture, combined with great history! Lots of variety for tourist attractions (historical, cultural, food, scenery, etc.) Just beware of scammer and probably pickpocket, as in other big cities.

I enjoyed visiting all the beautiful mosques, the Bosphorous...

I enjoyed visiting all the beautiful mosques, the Bosphorous Cruise, Asian side, the efficient transport system. I ate a variety of food not just Turkish cuisine. It was easy to get around Turkey but I had a bad experience when we arrived at the airport with one of the yellow taxi's. When we got into the taxi he completely ignore us when we said turn on the meter and he was so busy texting and driving and also had a video call with his wife all the way until we reached our destination. He over charged us a rate of 1500TL for a 40km ride and said that because he used bridges and the highways, his taxi is taxed for that. The taxi driver also drove horribly fast and we were concerned of our safety. I unfortunately did not get the registration number so I could not add it here. Anyways we made the best of the time that we were in Instanbul. I would not use a metered taxi next time I land in Istanbul and will try and a private pick up service. Hope that this feedback helps

Stayed in Istanbul for about 6 days.

Stayed in Istanbul for about 6 days. Managed to see the European side with all the historical monuments. Moved over to the Asian side which was quite beautiful and very modern. Could have stayed on this side longer and explored some of the more hipster neighbourhoods. Have to be aware of many scam artists in the city who try and con tourists. Also be careful of taxi drivers who also overcharge. Be ready to bargain for everything as there are tourist traps everywhere. It could be better to stay in an Airbnb rather than a hotel, as even the five star hotels are not up to scratch in Istanbul.

We were on our first trip to Istanbul in May 2024.

We were on our first trip to Istanbul in May 2024. In total, we spent three weeks in Turkey, with around 9 nights in Istanbul. We were really impressed with the city and the history it carries. There's a lot to do in Istanbul, and I suggest you should spend at least 6 nights there, dividing them between 4 near Taksim/Bosphorus and 2 near Sultanahmet (Fatih area). We stayed at Bosphorus for 6 nights and 3 nights at Ibrahim Pasha in Fatih, which was perfect as it was just walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, and Topkapi Palace. The best way to get around is via trams using Istanbulkart. Avoid taxis as they can be unreliable; try using Uber instead. Even with Uber, they may try to charge more than the fare should be, so be extra cautious. Always ask the Uber driver to reset the fare once they pick you up, as they may try to start the trip before you're even in the car. Cards are accepted everywhere, so you don't need to carry a lot of local currency. It's better to use a card, as you can pay for even small purchases like a bottle of water with your bank card (we used our Australian bank card during our visit). In addition to the main attractions, try to visit the following areas: Kadikoy, Uskudar, Besiktas, and Venice Istanbul Shopping Mall. Consider avoiding the Princess Island day trip, as it might not be worth it if you're coming from a country like Australia. Hope it helps

Bosphorus strait is my first place to visit I enjoy spending...

Bosphorus strait is my first place to visit I enjoy spending as much time as possible over there. Baran Et in Fatih is the best place for grilled meats though it is rather expensive but you get what you pay for. Istanbul is quite a big city and getting around it is not easy. Thus, make sure to define the reason for your visit and choose a stay as near as possible to the points of interests that you came for.

First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, it is close to Taksim Square, from which public transport runs in any direction, including buses from both Gokcen and Istanbul airports. The room is quite big and clean. The only inconvenience was that we didn't have a closet. the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Thank them for that. The street where the hotel is located is full of very good cafes with live music until the morning, so we didn't have to look far for entertainment.

I liked the fact that this hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul and the prices are pretty decent given the location. The hotel’s proximity to landmarks such as Galata Tower and Taksim square really make it stand out. Hotel was well decorated, and we loved the quirky style. The service was excellent as well, and I loved the chocolatier on the bottom floor as well. Hotel was located in a very walkable part of Istanbul near Taksim Square, making it very easy to get around. Loved staying here!

Amazing hotel (specially the park prestige suites wing). A very spaceous 2 bedroom prestige apartment suite. One of the biggest you can find in Istanbul. Awesome location very near to Taksim square and Istiklal street. Amazing views from the room and hotel restaurants.
