The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. Loved the kahvlatis ( traditional Turkish breakfast cafes) a must experience
Recommend Dogaciyiz Gourmet and Van kahvalti Evi in Beyoglu. area and Cesme Bazlama in Sisli./ Nisantasi area - the latter was worth the trek from our hotel in Beyoglu truly a sultans feast of an experience so memorable.
One tip be on your guard against professional scammers at the Istanbulkart top up machines pretending to help you especially at airports but in reality attempt to distract your attention whilst scamming you of travel credit on your card The machines have clear English language options and are easy to fathom eventually so try not accept help.

A bustling city that never sleeps!
A bustling city that never sleeps! Plenty of things to see and do for all age groups. Particularly enjoyed the breakfast cruise on the Bosphorus. Plenty of fast/street food outlets but traditional Turkish restaurants need searching for. Travelling around the city is easy on the tram but beware of taxis as they can overcharge tourists a lot.

We love Istanbul but it’s too expensive compared to 2 years...
We love Istanbul but it’s too expensive compared to 2 years previous prices are more than 3 times eg dinner a 1 course a beer and Iran was almost 40 we did then go to the pudding shop and the cost was 24£ it was the only place we could find reasonable but basically it was chicken and potatoes a slice of green and red pepper and 1/4 tomato. To visit any attraction was at least £20 each luckily we have visited previous 3 times and saw them either free or very minimal cost £5. The
Cakes you see were 400turkish lira - £10

A beautiful place to visit on a sunny, breezy day.
A beautiful place to visit on a sunny, breezy day. Take a boat ride on Bosphorus or take a tram to go around town. By the way, trams are excellent in taking you around the city - and very, very cheap. The town is steeped in history. You will see the signs of its grand past all over. People are very friendly and smiling. It was our third trip and we will go back soon.

A perfect destination for Food lovers, combines history, art, modern architecture and shopping. It offers both luxury and simple lifestyle option with great nature and many options for transportation. The only disadvantage is that its very crowded so choosing the right time to come is essential.

- Topkapi Palace : to be done but expensive for what it is.
- Topkapi Palace : to be done but expensive for what it is. The Harem is the best place
- Blue Mosquee : beautiful and free
- Grand Bazar / Spice Bazar : just to feel the atmosphere, not to buy something
- Hammam : the must of the trip, with scrub, foam & oil massage
- Princess Islands (the last one) : beautiful, like if you are in a seaside resort + an icecream of course !
- Bosphorus cruise but only if you didn't take the boat for Princess Islands
- Fatih, Balat & Fener with colored houses
- Citerne Basilique : too expensive for what is it, in 15 minutes, you make the tour
- Basilique Sainte Sophie : not done
+++ : The restaurants and also a fish sandwich on Eminonu !
I strongly recommend Weingart Hotel, first of all, because of the staff behavior - Mr. Dovlet was wonderful and very helpful, he answered our requests and tried his best to make our stay a memorable one. Many thanks also to Mr. Tayfun! The location is a very good one - next to Galata Tower, to tram station (between Karakoy and Tophane), short distance to Taksim Square and easily to reach Sultanahmet area. The breakfast was diversified and tasty. It is not luxury accommodation, but comfortable and pleasant.
Excellent service! The hotel staff was always pleasant and willing to help. And a special thanks for an upgrade and other complimentary things. The coffee in lobby is amazing by the way:)
Room was clean and big.
I was surprised that vale parking was free! In 5 star hotels it is usually, but for Istanbul it’s not always like this))
Just a perfect impression, I will highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for the hotel in asian side. Location is perfect for Sabiha airport
Location is exceptional, it's in taksim square and at the same time we didn't hear much noise.
Different kinds of transportation is available and so close.
Aras was very helpful and kind and let us extend our stay and changed our room to a double room which was perfect and had everything we needed
The room was spacious unlike a lot of hotels with the same budget.
Totally recommened if you want to be in the middle of Istanbul on a budget and enjoy your stay in a nice place.
Everything was perfect, our stay at the element garden was one of the best things in our trip , the location is awesome in a calm street few minutes walk from Taksim square , rooms very clean with the necessary equipment we even cooked there and could eat in the hotel’s garden , the staff were extremely nice and helpful especially Ella who was preparing very good breakfasts and was extremely nice , I recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Istanbul
The hotel and staff were great; very good location and walking distance to Taksim Square, taksim metro, istiklal Street and all the restaurants, banks and anything one may need.
The hotel itself is a very cute and modern place, newly renovated with clean fittings and interiors. Burak at the reception was always there to help with taxi bookings, other info about the city and always prompt on WhatsApp. Must stay in Istanbul. We are coming here again soon!
The area where the hotel is situated is quite impressive, as it boasts numerous small shops and bars with delectable food options. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to famous tourist attractions such as Galata Tower, Taksim Square, Karakoy, and Galataport makes it an ideal location for sightseeing. Additionally, a metro station is conveniently located nearby. The hotel room was both sizable and well maintained. We will chose The Loft Istanbul again.
The hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff were super friendly and they upgraded our room to a suite! The suite was very spacious and clean, and the location was really good and close to Taksim square, to the metro station, to many restaurants and shopping airport and it also has the Havaist station close to the main gate, so it's very convenient to go and back from the airport. We're willing to stay here again when visiting Istanbul.
great location nice size room close to everything. we hopped off the bus from Istanbul airport spent one night here and
caught bus to the Asian side Airport which is a 5 min walk away(both busses stop at the same spot). the hotel is in a quite area and Taksim square is just around the corner, great spot to do some exploring. the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating like most hosts in Turkiye
The hotel is barely a 5mins walk to Taksim Square. The overall look and feel of the hotel was very good. The lobby was very clean and had a a very luxury vibe to it. Would like to make a special mention about Mr. Turgut who went out of the way to resolve some issues with our booking. He was extremely helpful and courteous. We need more people like him in the hospitality industry.
I have stayed at several 5 star hotels in Istanbul and paid about 3 times the amount than this hotel. However, this was actually the best decision I made. It was so worth the value and more. From the location to the staff to the hotel itself absolutely impeccable. Loved it! Highly recommended. You can't possibly go wrong with this hotel. Can't wait to come back.
I loved this hotel, which is 5 minutes walking distance from Taksim Square. The staff is very polite and helpful. The best part is that it is a family business. Next time I come to Istanbul, I will definitely stay in this hotel with my family. It was very clean and nice. Thank you very much to Mr. Gökhan and Mr. Orhan who helped with everything.
staff were super in everything, very helpful guided us every day on how to enjoy Istanbul.
location is very convenient, walking distance to metro, tram, ferry, 20 min drive to the old city “20 /30 lira by taxi”
walking distance to istiklal street & taksim square. we will definitely be back to this hotel.

the location is one of the best, as I’m visiting Istanbul regularly over 10 years, this hotel has the best location, close to everything,

calm area, clean, multi shops around you,
excellent, polite and supportive staff.
the staffs was so friendly and kind. the view of the restaurant was amazing and the room was so clean. everything was ok and if I want to come to istanbul again, I would like book this hotel again. the location is close to taksim square but you should walk like a climb for about 5 minutes!
Hotel was well decorated, and we loved the quirky style. The service was excellent as well, and I loved the chocolatier on the bottom floor as well. Hotel was located in a very walkable part of Istanbul near Taksim Square, making it very easy to get around. Loved staying here!
near to Istanbul Mall, I chise this, hotel as value for money, was good and secondly after the tour we want to be near mall of istanbul for shopping and nor far to catch the airport while finishing the tour.
The hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, 5 mins to Taksim square. You can reach there by any public transport. Staff were friendly. Check in and check out was easy.
I only like the location which is main tourist attractions in Istanbul, which is Taksim square, nothing more expect from this hotel whole stay in this hotel.
