The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. Istanbul is a great city full of history and amazing night life. We particularly enjoyed the topakapi palace and the princess islands the most and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. The public transport system was easy to navigate and much cheaper than using the taxi. The food was delectable but a bit pricier than previous years but we enjoyed it nevertheless. The Grand Bazaar is full of souvenirs and good quality items; however the prices are quite exaggerated as compared to some other markets locals use in Istanbul. Overall, Istanbul is a must visit city, just remember to bring a bag of cash as years pass by as every try thing is getting more expensive each year.

Istanbul is hands down one of the best cities for anyone to travel to. I was in awe of the beautiful city filled with its historical landmarks, adorable cats, friendly, helpful, and welcoming people, delicious food, and convenient public transport. It truly is the city of dreams. As a female solo traveller, I have never felt safer walking about the streets late at night. Every little street that you walk in has something to offer. You must try the San Sebastian cheesecake at Kahvesi Viyana next to the Galata Tower and the chocolate baklava at Hafiz Mustafa. The baked potatoes near the Hagia Sophia is also a must try.

Istanbul is a city like no other — a true crossroads of cultures between Asia and Europe. It blends the energy and diversity of Asia with the flavors, markets, traditions, and iconic architecture shaped by centuries of history and the many civilizations that have called it home. It’s absolutely unmissable. I loved every moment here, and yet I felt I needed much more time to truly take it all in. Among the many experiences, the Bosphorus cruise was simply exceptional — an unforgettable way to see the city from a different perspective and appreciate its unique beauty.

I loved Istanbul where Europe meets Asia. There is a whole mix of cultures with museums, art, palaces, history, towers, rivers, islands, breathtaking views and mosques. It is a city of one thousand and one night, a fairy tail with souks, excellent food and the orient. I absolutely loved it and recommend everyone to have it on their bucket list of places to see in a lifetime.

A great little hotel in Sultanahmet within 5 minutes walk Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The hospitality of the staff is excellent, very friendly and attentive. They are happy to book your airport transfers and help with suggestions and bookings. Breakfast is excellent - a good selection of continental/Turkish style buffet, with a selection of cooked options. Would definitely stay again if we return to Istanbul.

The hotel is located in a very lively and nice area, close to Taksim Square. There are numerous restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was very cosy and clean. It was also quiet. The staff was very nice and ready to help. They welcomed us with cakes and coffee. They organized us a VIP transfer to the airport in a very early morning. I strongly recommend this place to stay in Istanbul.
