After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

Ankara is just another city.
Large. Lots of people
I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is well located if you are coming from the airport as the Ulus Bus stop it is just one block away, plus is not far from the train station, the castle and the nightlife area of the city. Yes, the blocks near the hotel maybe look a bit shady but I never felt any danger and didn't see anything wrong there. The restaurant next to the hotel is very good too. The staff was very cordial. The room was good, with a very good bed and a good bathroom. I felt comfortable there.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sky Hill Hotel. The staff's hospitality was impeccable; they were exceedingly polite and helpful. The hotel's cleanliness exceeded my expectations and was well worth the price. The breakfast provided was flawless. The hotel's location is superb, easily accessible from the airport via an affordable bus service. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely return without any hesitation.
Everything was very well. Especially Mrs. Leyla was so polite and helpful. Convenient location. The hotel is close to the city centre, the bus terminal (AŞTİ) and the bus stop for airport buses. There are stores and a hairdresser near the hotel. The room was so cosy and clean. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.
Everything was perfect. Breakfast were delicious. The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel is located in the city centre. It takes less than 5 minutes to get from the hotel to metro station and bus stop. The room was comfortable and pleasant. The staff speaks English.
the breakfast was lovely, staff was amazing, place was clean, shower was hot. the staff also helped us get a taxi to the airport. simply very good i recommend this a lot. not to mention the services was sublime it was just too good. i honestly felt like i am in a 4 star hotel
An excellent hotel, with a very kind and professional staff, great Main Manager, always ready to help on any issue, definitely recommend, very convenient to get to, there is a taxi, a shop nearby, we also got there from the airport quite quickly. Everything is great!
This hotel is a type "gets the job done". Conveniently located near the airport (30 minutes walk, 5 minutes taxi), clean, reasonably comfortable. When I smelled cigarette smoke in the originally assigned room, it was exchanged fastly, smoothly, and with an apology.
Hotel in city centre. Near u can find shops, public transport with bus stop to airport, restaurants and bars. It's really comfortable to get to most points of Ankara from the hotel. For four people we got separate rooms with own bathrooms. It was cool.
The hotel is vey well located. Many restaurants just few minutes walk away. The front office staff was very friendly and always ready to help. They assisted us in organising taxi and also gave us good tips about things to do in the area.
Simply beautiful hotel, very high end furnishing and finishes. Extremely comfortable, quiet, restful. Right across from the castle and short walk to Anatolian Civilizations Museum. Historic and charming property.
I found the hotel very clean and the service was good. And the breakfast was very tasty. Also, the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. My stay at the hotel was very comfortable. Good luck to you all
This hotel is in a great location, its practically a part of train station. For me it's 5 star hotel, so clean, elegant, room is big and bathroom is big.
Sure I will back again.
Bedrooms were a generous size, the hotel was close to the old town (taxi took 10 minutes) and the subway outside the hotel took you to the city centre within minutes
