The safety was excellent while walking around the streets of Ankara. I have visited a very few attractive places for tourists;
I would like to mention that there is a great possibility to eat healthy food in most restaurants and cafes; people are great; Hamamonu street is superb, also on kizilay district (the city center) you can enjoy well!
You can use your master card while using bus and metro stations, it was really comfortable and there is no need to take local ticket transport cards;
Tunali Hilmi Caddesi is worth to have a look; Also Ramada shopping areas and it's sub-around cafes are great!
The transport system looks great and easy to get around;
Avoid to have less time while being in Ankara :)

After two short trips to Ankara I must admit I am very impressed by the friendliness of the Turkish people, as well as the cleanliness and good order of everything. The new railway station can be a good example, one of the nicest railway stations I have visited, and I have seen many! For the food side, I am most interested to have nice breakfast, and that is something you can get in Turkey, with lots of different olives, cheeses and vegetables, a very tasty and healthy breakfast I guess.

It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul.
It was a great place to land before heading to Istanbul. Very walkable, safe for single women and not crowded with tourists. The metro is fantastic and there are many beautiful public parks!
Not many people speak English but we could get by with some limited Arabic and lots of hand gestures with accomodating city hosts.

I loved the city structure, peoples hospitality, as well as calmness . However in rash hours it was a bit annoying to reach the destinations. Since I already had been in Istanbul, I can fairly say that Ankara is much more beautiful than Istabul as a touristic city. I would definitely travel again. Not to mention that they have installed buttons for quick requesting a taxi which was nice.

I love Ankara - the awe-inspiring landmarks, such as the majestic Atatürk Mausoleum (I see it from the top floor of my hotel), stand tall as a testament to the city's proud history and the visionary spirit of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It gives such magic and confirms true glory – lights in the evening make me think of some truly enchanting atmosphere. The lovely streets of Ankara are adorned with stunning architecture, beautiful parks, and bustling markets, all reflecting the city's unique character and cultural diversity.

Ankara is just another city.
Large. Lots of people
I didn't experience any old or interesting features there.
All the food in restaurants are more or less the same throughout Turkiye. I'm sure there are subtle regional differences. But I couldn't pick any.
The members of staff were nice, they spoke good English, they were friendly and well informed. The variety at breakfast was very wide, the food was fresh and delicious. The room and bathroom were great and clean. The room was quiet, we couldn't hear any guests except when they were right outside of our door. The location was good too. The pool was nice and had a good temperature. The airport shuttle provided by the hotel was good but we preferred if it was possible to pay for it by card (had to withdraw cash especially for this).
+Located a short walk from the central Kızılay intersection and in close vicinity to the Kolej Metro station
+Very clean, very "5 star-looking" hotel
+Good rooms, nice mattressess, I could not hear my neighbours through the wall.
+If it matters to you, the toilets were European style
+Good and varied open buffet breakfast (I cannot evaluate the restaurant, as I did not used it otherwise)
+Very friendly staff, English speaking
+A lot of elevators
+A free-to-use luggage rooms, for guests who checked out.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is well located if you are coming from the airport as the Ulus Bus stop it is just one block away, plus is not far from the train station, the castle and the nightlife area of the city. Yes, the blocks near the hotel maybe look a bit shady but I never felt any danger and didn't see anything wrong there. The restaurant next to the hotel is very good too. The staff was very cordial. The room was good, with a very good bed and a good bathroom. I felt comfortable there.
hotel its self as museum ,i booked deluxe room from booking.com and i will speak more about the room bed was wow pillows the two on bed was from further and they put two more bigger one in the cabinet the bed cover was best i saw in all 5 stars hotels the room design was beautiful room size bigger than normal with sofa two seat and one seat the table was antique the bathroom especially the shower best of best in world u won’t go out lol
Hotel was close to Ankara airport and very convenient for me as I had an early morning flight. I managed a leisurely breakfast before being taken by the free hotel shuttle to the airport 5 minutes’ drive away.
The staff were exceptional - they were extremely helpful and went out of their way to resolve a booking issue I had. Thank you very much.
I only had an overnight stay but I would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was at a convenient location, within walking distance from key attractions. The metro was just infront of the hotel. The staff were friendly and ready to help. We extended our stay twice and they were very accommodating. The room cleaning was standard and never missed to replace anything (we experienced before that some hotels in Turkey missed some item replacements during daily cleaning)
The Green Park hotel has excellent central location and is close to shopping malls, restaurants, coffee shops and the metro station. Its facilities and rooms are excellent and clean. The hotel staff were very attentive and responsive, and they worked hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
Great location near the Kizilay square with so many shpos, stors, exchange, malls, bus station, metro, taxi, and every things you want.
Airport to Kizilay by bus with right price.
This is good for people that don't stay in hotel for long time during the days.
This horel is my choice again in Ankara.
The hotel location is almost perfect very close to city centre, 5 min walk from city centre. The room was super clean and spacious and beautifully designed. The breakfast was great. The staff were very professional , genuine, friendly and very helpful for every demand that we had
The hotel is the best one among the hotels around it, I tried all the 3 stars and 4 stars hotels in Kizilay, and this one is one of the top among them, also one of the cheapest, you will get a cheap hotel and a perfect location and the hotel rooms quality is good.
I like the location and the service by the front office. All staff were very very friendly. Special thanks to all of them. The hotel is very close to Güven Park, which is the final station of the airport shuttle. Suitable for families.
Good afternoon, I came to Ankara again and again I stayed here, a good hotel, this time the staff called me a transfer from the airport, everything was comfortable.
special thanks to the guys at the reception. thank you
Location is great, very close to the shopping district and nice cafes. Modern rooms with comfy beds. Excellent breakfast and above all very friendly staff that makes you feel like at home. Highly recommend this hotel.
The standard of the hotel is good.
The location of the hotel is 2km from the airport.. a little too far to walk but it's isolated with nothing anywhere near it..
cheese and fruit selection was good. staff was friendly. location was good and safe for late evening walk. it was proper quality hotel for 4 star class.
