I did not do the breakfast. Quiet, pleasant location. The room was a good size and the shower was modern and nice.
The front desk guy was very professional. He checked us in and was also working a shift when we checked out the next morning. I had forgotten something in the room and he was able to quickly resolve my issue (I had already turned my key in). I really appreciated his helpful attitude. Wish I knew his name--really should be given a raise or considered for a promotion.

Great Valet staff, particularly Everett Romero. Also, one very good waiter at dinner, Landon. The Spa masseuses were very good too. We enjoyed sitting on the quiet balcony of our room.

The drive up from Santa Fe and the view of the Rio Grande gorge was exquisite. The church of San Francisco de Asis is a beautiful example of Spanish Mission style adobe churches and the people of the community are wonderful, welcoming, and pleasant. Five Star burgers had great food and a good selection of local beers.

The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable. Well, maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. They had tamales! The salsa was fresh and tasty. Cookies chips and salsa in the afternoon in the lobby. On site laundry. Taos is easy to get around and they have an excellent public library.

Taos is currently working on their Plaza.
Taos is currently working on their Plaza. I’m looking forward to that project being completed. Around the Plaza the Gorge and the Alley Cantina are both great places to eat and drink. The trip to Rancho de Taos is mandatory. Not only for the beautiful church but for the restaurant in the plaza behind the church. The Ranchos Plaza Grill is fantastic!! Their hours are kinda weird so check before going.

Slightly too touristy for my liking, but with some lovely walks when you drive to them; well worth to go to the Rio GRande gorge walks and also see the bridge and walk across it; Taos pueblo is always worth a visit and to do a tour there; this time we did the enchanted circle drive, very stunnng scenery.
Taos centre is ok for a coffee, but I would avoid it mainly
The location is great, within walking distance to galleries, shopping and restaurants. The inn gives you a very authentic feel of Taos. The owners make you feel welcome, plus they have such a family history in Taos. They truly care about the community.
The breakfasts were delicious, and the dining area is beautiful with the artwork and the table attire.
We were skiing at Taos, and the drive was easy, we were able to get back early enough to enjoy the Town.
Fantastic King room with a California King sized bed, TV and fireplace. Tasty and warm breakfast included compliments of Bob. Out in the country, but still close enough to enjoy Taos; with animals that make it feel like a real home: "Scout" the dog, "Mimi" the sweet, affectionate cat and various chickens will make you feel welcome and special. Nice sitting areas off the back of the hotel with country views and chickens and Scout the dog running around.
Considering the places to stay in Taos, this place is well maintained, clean, staff is helpful, the location is central, and the value is what got me and will continue to get me to stay with them. I don't need to PAY for the Taos experience via my hotel, I just need a reasonable place to stay and that's what this place does, so thank you for that! I am not made of money, and this afforded me and my family a memorable time in Taos.
This was the best hotel stay we have had in many years. We had a large King room with a wood-burning fireplace for a very reasonable cost. The breakfast was absolutely the best we have ever had - tamales, burritos, eggs, sausage, and too many other things to mention. Free cookies, salsa, and chips in the afternoons. Free coffee and hot chocolate throughout the day. Close to the Taos downtown plaza and shops.
What a beautiful Inn, the rooms are cozy with fireplace and wood brought to the room. This is a dog friendly location and we even had a small patio area off our room for our dog. Peggy is incredible, her made to order breakfast was the BEST! She is so knowledgeable and knows all the history and places to eat in Taos. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again!!! Thank you Peggy, amazing stay!!!
This is a beautifully preserved and maintained historic property in the center of Taos Plaza. Even though it's historic, it has been update with quality modern amenities. The staff, especially Sheldon, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. As a bonus, hotel guests can see the "Forbidden Art" paintings of D.H. Lawrence.
The breakfast was nice with fresh squeeze orange juice, hot omelette and sausages.
The receptionist was very helpful and tried hard to arrange for us a visit to the pueblo.
Quite locality a bit far from downtown Taos.
Great attention to details in the room and loan in front of it.
Room was large with refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was easy to find and very convenient to downtown Taos. There was even a nice outdoor pool, but it was a little too cold to use when we were there.
Taos is a small town and this hotel is on the Main Street near everything. Easy access, ample parking, big rooms. We were in a studio with a king, a queen and a sofa bed. Great for a family of four.
Room had a small refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker.
Our room was in an older part of the hotel. It had a little fireplace and was decorated in keeping with the name of the hotel. The bathroom had a pueblo ladder with towels on it. Beds comfy, room clean, friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast buffet and area.
the location was perfect for walking into Taos. The staff were friendly in the restaurant and reception and there was live music playing in the bar as well.
we also received an upgrade on our room which was a lovely gesture.
Beautiful traditional Taos house, in idyllic setting. Lovely host who went of of her way to make our stay as good as possible. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended.
