We go to Branson at least once a year.

We go to Branson at least once a year. When you go you must see the Sight and Sounds show, Reza and SIX. We did some things this year we haven't in the past, but other than being so hot it was a great time.

Branson is a great vacation destination for families and couples. There is so much to do in the area including: music/variety/magic shows, museums, several shopping centers, souvenir shops, mini-golf, go-carts, a wide variety of quality restaurants, the original ferris-wheel from the Navy Pier in Chicago, Historic Downtown Branson, zoos, the Branson Belle Dinner Cruise Showboat, Silver Dollar City Amusement Park....among many other attractions. There is a wide variety of accommodations to choose from as well, from inexpensive budget motels to high-end luxury hotels...along with condos, town-homes, B&Bs and VRBOs. The only downside (for me) is that there are only a handful (or less) of local, "neighborhood-type" bars that aren't part of a larger restaurant. In fact, I've only found 3...and they're kind-of "hidden gems".

Branson is a family-friendly city that we bring our family to again and again. This trip we spent two days at Silver Dollar City and one day at White Water. We also enjoyed checking out the rocks, beads, and jewelry at the Plum Bazaar in downtown Branson and going to the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe production by the Truth Travelers. On other trips, we've also enjoyed mini-golfing at Coral Reefs, visiting Branson Landing, Dick's 5 and 10, Moonshine Beach, the fish hatchery, Fritz's Adventure, Hurts Donuts, Tanger Outlets, Sight and Sound, and more.

My favorite part of the trip was Dogwood Canyon which was 35 minutes away from Branson. In Branson we did so many things tho. Silver Dollar City, Adventure Seekers, Butterfly Palace, Aquarium at the Boardwalk, Moonshine Beach, and Shepherd of the Hills. We did shopping at The Landing, Tanger Outlet, and a couple thrift stores. We stayed at Green Gables Inn that was a super price and a great location to almost everything we did. We enjoyed eating at Apple Bees, Red Lobster, Billy Gail's (had a wait time), and Scooters Sports Grill. Got coffee at Dunkin and Starbucks. Everything was so close, being from a rural town in Wisconsin, it was very nice and convenient.

I like that it was close to the strip but not actually on the strip so it was quiet. The room was a very basic room, but had everything we needed. I like that the room had vinyl flooring instead of carpet. Carpet in hotel rooms is always so dirty. They had a few snacks available in the lobby that were fairly priced. The staff that checked us in was very friendly and efficient.

It's in a good area and close to a lot of the downtown events. The breakfast was good. The staff were very nice. The neighbors were not loud at all. I've stayed in hotels where I can hear from one room to another, and I didn't hear anything in this one, so that's great. The air-conditioning worked well.

Fantastic location for exploring Branson. Closer to one end of the strip so less hectic. Excellent breakfast offering (who doesn’t love cinnamon bread for breakfast?). Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and staff friendly. The hotel is spotlessly clean and attractively presented.

I love this little hotel. I book it all the time for 2/3 day getaways. Off season prices are low no breakfast or snack bar in the evening. Literally we are only minutes away from any shows!!! We have been there so much they welcome us like family. I’ll be back again!

We loved the Ozarker, modern motel with great facilities. Branson was very busy so it was lovely to be out of the town a little to miss the chaos but close enough to drive to restaurants. We stayed in a family room and my kids loved the bunk beds.
