Watching the duck march was a highlight! Loved all the duck decor - even drinks at the bar had a duck motif. Beds were very comfortable, room exceptionally clean.

Our flight arrived early in the morning and we were exhausted. The staff kindly let us check in early. Couldn’t have been more thankful. Check in was super quick & easy. For check out , I had overslept and again , staff let us check out at noon instead of 11am. Hotel was very clean and room spacious. Bed and pillows super comfy. Will be staying here again when I come back to MEM.

The hotel was nice, except for the unhoused male and female who met us when we arrived, asking for food and the same couple asking for money when we were leaving. They were on the hotel property doing this. The hotel was clean and well kept. The breakfast was the same 2 days in a row. Beds and pillows very comfortable.Desk personnel personable.

Memphis is great, we always enjoying stopping at the independent restaurants and bars. We love the growth we are seeing and how more and more travelers are visiting even in the heat of the summer. We loved the Green Turtle, The Peabody was ok. Aldo's Pizza never disappoints. It's always easy to get around Memphis

One needs to visit Memphis for the Stax Museum.

One needs to visit Memphis for the Stax Museum. Also, the Lorraine Motel. Elvis Museum! and BEALE STREET! I am a Texan and I found the BBQ superb. The Rendezvous (Not on Beale St but in a back alley on S. Second). A BBQ restaurant in an alley? We knew that it was going to be great!

The staff was very pleasant easy check-in, they were helpful. Everything downstairs looked very nice. Upstairs room linens were an issue. Bathroom looked okay except for a dirty towel that I found, Breakfast was awful.

    Memphis no longer feels safe!

Memphis no longer feels safe! We were there in 2022, and more recently in 2025 and felt a big difference in only 3 years. Streets are deserted, Trams and public transport no longer run, and the homicide rate is quite scary. The City need to heavily invest in safety and then tourism; Memphis does have a lot to offer, but at the moment I would recommend friends, family and fellow travellers steer clear.

Good food, but stick to downtown.

Good food, but stick to downtown. It's far safer than the suburbs by a WIDE margin. I was down to look at homes and property for sale. Given that i'm white, and not from the area. Both I and my business partner caught flak at 7 of the 12 property's we came to look at. Having a realtor for 3 of them didn't help. Downtowns great though, go see a live show on Beale street and visit Rendezvous BBQ. Though I'd recommend staying in a West Memphis hotel and just using one of the paid parking areas because everywhere is going to charge you for parking regardless. You may as well take the extra 10 minute drive from West Memphis and commute into downtown. You will save money doing so.

We came to Memphis as part of a road trip stayed just the one one night at La Quinta- location was ok- had a great night out!! the room was unclean pubic hair in the bath - staff not very helpful- we woke up in the morning to find our hire truck parked in the hotel car park that he cctv had been broken into two smashed windows the police attended and shared it’s a daily occurrence- please if you stay here do not park here. The staff did provide a cardboard box and tape for the broken windows- another guest there had his car stolen!

Nice hotel, located perfectly for visiting Memphis. Room was spacious, clean and everything worked. It was quiet, despite its city location and the staff were helpful. Memphis has a great musical history, so visit Graceland, Sun Records and Beale Street. The Civil Rights museum is vast and very moving.
