The bathroom was dirty. There was mold under the vanity and inside the shower under the soap shelf. The bath tub had black marks on the side.
The hot breakfast was the only good thing about our stay.

I was here to embark a cruise.
I was here to embark a cruise. I had one full day free between arrival and departing. I had visited Everglades previously and am not a big fan of beaches, so i found a limited number of things to do. I took a water taxi -spent about 3 hours on it - and enjoyed walking in Los Olas.

Everything was really nice, they could offer a complimentary breakfast like other hotels, not just coffee. And when working in job like motel work staff should be able to understand the customer. I ask a housekeeper a question, she told me she doesn't speak English.Nothing against it we have all races in the US, some English should be understood.

Lauderdale by the Sea is great for all ages, kids can enjoy the pool or ocean. beach chairs & towels seem to be available at a lot of motels, this is a great convenience to visitors. Umbertos has great pizza, we didn't eat out all the time, as it was great to pick up a few groceries at Publix or Walmart and have sandwiches/hot chicken for meals throughout our stay. Minimally a bar fridge and microwave, and coffee maker are a great asset in a room when you're there for a 7 to 10+ day stay.

I was on a late flight to Fort Lauderdale, while in the air I got a cancellation email. With no reason they cancelled my reservation and I didn’t have a place to stay when we arrived at 1am. The receptionist didn’t have an explanation on why it was cancelled and couldn’t send me an email to guarantee that I will not be charged . This a terrible place , I had to go back to the airport and sleep on the floor!!! I need an explayaron on why my reservation was cancelled and a certification from Booking.com that I won’t be charged.
Excellent location, comfortable bed, hot shower and excellent service - these are what's important to me and this hotel ticked every box. I had a very relaxing stay here. Its 5 minutes' walk to the beach and about the same to the restaurant area.
The kitchen area of my room was fully equipped and I was able to cook meals sometimes.
Denise and Valentina on reception went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect.
I booked Horizon based on customer reviews. I'm glad I did. I would happy return.
An outside Hot Tub, an amazing modern big Gym with all you need an water treatment, really comfort. Towel Service. Direct on the beach with Jet Ski and 10 min. away by car from the Center and Center beach with nice Restaurants and Bars. Big room with Balcony and side beach view with a bit charming "Motel Style". Amazing comfortable big Bed. Supermarket a few min. away. Big Parking Space. Beach/ snacks Shop in the hotel.
An original 1960s Beach Front hotel that hasn’t changed much since then. Clean and tidy, but a little rough around the edges. As the manager said it’s a classic. Don’t expect 5star luxury, it’s not that kind of place.
It has free parking, free WiFi, a pool a great bar / restaurant, and it’s 20yards from the beach.
A budget hotel in the middle of Fort Lauderdale, you could not ask for more.
Very nice boutique hotel with throw back vibes to retro Ft Lauderdale. Room was very spacious and clean. Pool was very inviting with a lot of different seating options. The entire North Beach Village area was very comfortable, affordable, and quiet, without the attitude and expense of the glitzy, high-rise hotels on the beach front, but very accessible to all the amenities.
Everything was great. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend the North Beach Hotel to anyone that was in search of a place on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Great location, walking distance (1 block) to the beach. Restaurants and bars are all walkable and it is a short Uber/Taxi to Las Olas Blvd.
The convenience of being so close to the airport was the first attraction i booked this property for my 2 days business stay in Fort Lauderdale. Our Gallery Host "Rose" was charming person. The hotel has big clean rooms, staff is friendly, situated at convenient location, comes with breakfast buffet. It's good value for money. Two thumbs up.
Excellent location and surrounding amenities affiliated with the hotel group. NBV is a beautiful little area and it harkens back to a different experience of Florida on the beach. GREAT concept. Great size room and kitchen. Layout was perfect for an extended stay.
It was a very nice for 3 nights the pool and property was exceptionally clean the staff was friendly easy check in good suggestions of place to go definitely a quiet place would never stay at a large hotel again in fort Lauderdale very close to the beach
Such a cute little place! Right on the beach, and the room was super clean! When I booked it was the cheapest in the area which made me alittle nervous but I will be booking this hotel every time I’m in the area. Well worth the price!
Really loved this hotel. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well maintained with two pools and is close to everything along the beach front in Fort Lauderdale. Can't wait to return!
Very nice location just a few blocks from Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. The Village Cafe is very close to the hotel and serves delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a very reasonable price.
Close to Airport and Cruise Terminal.
The hotel was clean and modern the bathrooms were great with walk in showers not those awful step over bath type.
