Great location, staff was great, very comfortable.
Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.
The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.
Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.
The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.

Unfortunately, we arrived during a huge CAR SHOW & Pigeon Forge was JAMMED with cars & people! Terrible traffic jams and total gridlock downtown & on some side streets. Trolleys were either not running at all or stuck in the same traffic jams in the downtown area. We would definitely avoid any huge shows or large crowded activities in the future!! All parking & eating establishments were filled to capacity & then some. NEEDED: Some sort of TRAFFIC CONTROL during these huge events!! There were unmanageable gridlocks for the entire event! NEVER AGAIN.

Pigeon Forge has become my new (Go-To) destination!
Pigeon Forge has become my new (Go-To) destination! Have been here 4 times in under a year and have two more trips planned for spring and summer! Originally my stay was centered around (Dollywood), but when you travel through Severe County and especially (Pigeon Forge), it's hard not to fall in love with this place! There is so much to do here that it never gets old, and I find myself wanting to explore more and more! Wish I lived closer, so I could visit more often! maybe one day I'll move here and be able to enjoy it all...all the time!

We enjoyed our visit to Pigeon Forge sweetly nestled in the Smoky Mountains. We visited the area a couple of years ago and were surprise to see that it is becoming more commercialized. But love the area all the same
It is a wonderful place for honey mooners, famlies, and spring breakers. There are great amusement parks and resturants and shopping. However, sadly not very conducive to retirees.
Gatlinburg is very close and also a must visit. After enjoying shopping, resturants, and many family activities be sure to enjoy hiking and breathing in the Smoky Moutain scenic views and the crisp fresh air.

A unique community…very adventure entertainment centered.
A unique community…very adventure entertainment centered. Being able to drive to Great Smoky Mountain national park within 20 minutes, close to Gatlinburg. We’re new to the upstate and it was a great locale for a 3 night getaway.
The wheel on the Island, shops and Sky Fly was good fun, Parrot Mountain (10 min drive) was another first for us, so many beautiful birds to interact with. Next time we’ll tackle Dollywood when the great grandkids in tow.

We loved the room the pools the slides had kitchen ware which made things a lot easier very nice when requesting something would just bring it right up. Great location restaurants right around and only a short drive to all the attractions. Walmart right across the way very convenient.
My boys are are 15 & 10 years old. We just loved that this property was located on the Parkway in between Taco Bell & Baskin Robbins. We were able to walk right across the Parkway to the go carts & arcade. This hotel is conveniently located only 4 miles away from Dollywood which we loved! Check in was quick & the lady at the front desk was just the sweetest most helpful person. The room was clean, the beds were very comfy & the wifi was good. We will be back soon :-)
Breakfast was stocked well and delicious. There was an indoor and outdoor pool. They kept the halls so clean, usually when there are pools, hotels do not smell all that great. We loved this place. However, i wish there was more clarification on whether we were staying at the resort or inn. My app doesn't say. We stood in line for 30mins just to find out we were not at the right place. Overall, we would love to stay again!!!
The hotel was awesome, nice big rooms, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, so much to choose from. The pools were great. The hot tub was nice. The location was great, close to everything, and easy access to shops and food. U could even walk if u wanted to. It's definitely the best place I've stayed in Pigeon Forge. Definitely recommend.
I always stay here when I come to pigeon forge, because this hotel is absolutely the best quality and cleanliness i have ever experienced with a hotel. The beds are comfortable, the floors are impeccable, and I never feel dirty after being here. The pool facility is great, perfect for kids. The staff is always friendly. I will always choose the Black Fox.
Rooms are very affordable. Great location. Rooms were very clean. Loved the balcony where you could go out and watch the ducks in the creek behind the hotel. Had a problem with a toilet handle breaking and it was fixed by the time we got back to the room. Hotel is conveniently located on the Parkway close to shops amd attractions.
Was impressed with the staff- super helpful and friendly!!!! Received an amazing price for this impressive hotel that normally couldn't do especially during tourist season. Loved the fireplace in the room!! Also loved that we literally didn't have to leave the village because their was so much to see and do right there.
Staff was super friendly upon arrival, breakfast was pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go, the room was nice and you could tell it had been updated previously. Nice patio area on the river with rocking chairs. Great central location to everything in pigeon forge and only 20 minutes to gatlinburg.
Staff was super friendly! Hotel and rooms where clean and smelled great! Breakfast was great all hot and fresh! Love that you allow pets! Great location close to everything! Would recommend and will defiantly be back again, it’s the only place we stay in pigeon forge!
Honestly, nothing. We only booked this hotel because it was the cheapest thing remotely close the strip in Pigeon Forge. Even then the price for 2 nights was $282.83 so was still a little steep but that was the cheapest for this time of year.
The location was good, being right before the Spur, it was more quiet than other hotels on the Parkway and was nice that there was easy access to a couple of places to eat without having to get in the car and drive.
I came to this hotel in 2016 and again in 2023. it is one of my favorites accommodation in Pigeon Forge and is close to most of the activities. Perfect location on the river, super clean and perfect for families.
the hotel was away from the busy side of pigeon forge, the river view was nice from the balcony, the breakfast was great and the beds were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and staff was friendly.
