We loved the location because it was within walking distance of all the spots we wanted to visit, so we didn’t have to worry about driving or dealing with parking. We specifically visited The Island, Three Bears General Store, Sawyer’s Farmhouse Restaurant, and watched the Pirates Voyage show. All of which were just a short walk from the hotel. The Titanic Museum and Dollywood are also only a short drive away, making the location incredibly convenient. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The staff were lovely, friendly, and extremely accommodating. We especially enjoyed the beautiful heated pool, which was perfect at night, as well as the bar tent with a cozy fireplace where you can relax and unwind. The mountain views were absolutely stunning and added to the overall experience. When we put up the “Do Not Disturb” sign because we were checking out the next day and didn’t need the room cleaned, they still took the extra step of calling us to make sure we didn’t need anything. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail really stood out and made us feel well cared for. Our stay was truly wonderful. The working elevator was a huge plus, especially when traveling with a lot of luggage. As a special and unexpected touch, they even surprised me with a birthday cake, which was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Pigeon Forge. It was a lovely experience from start to finish.

FAQs about hotels in Pigeon Forge

A Tennessee Mountain Home

Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.

The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.

Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.

The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.

Pigeon Forge has a lot to do especially for kids.

Pigeon Forge has a lot to do especially for kids. Tons of shopping. PF seems to be a bit less crowded than Gatlinburg. We went during the busiest time of year, after Christmas to New Years and we were able to avoid a lot of the traffic that builds up. If you're going to Ober Gatlinburg to snow tube or ski, plan to get there early in the morning! We got there around 8:30am by the Sky Tram and was able to do most things before it got crowded. The afternoon the Sky Tram has a 2-3hr wait to go up the mountain. We also did Rocky Top Mountain Coaster. Fun ride that last longer than the others. Not a bad wait before lunch. The Old Mill was a great place to eat. They give you tons of good country cooking food. There was a 2 hour wait but there are plenty of shops walking distance to keep you entertained while you wait. We will definitely be back to do different things!

The eating places are abundant and the scenery of the mountains is great. It wasn't easy getting around at this time of the year. We just enjoyed driving around and seeing different sights. We really enjoy Cades Cove. Really not a good time to go to Gatlinburg during the week between Christmas and New Years. It is referred to by the locals as "hell week". LOL!! WE have found the best time is in the late fall of the year. Less traffic and fewer people. Parking is much easier to find as well in the fall.

The mountains are beautiful -- the night sky spectacular. There's lots to do. Lots of different kinds of foods to sample. A lot of shopping. It was my first trip to The Island which was nice. Oh, inside Dollywood, plan for meals. The wait was over an hour at the restaurants.

I remember when Pigeon Forge was a hole in the wall location......back in the 60's and 70's. Now it is more like a tourist trap---too many exhibits and restaurants and tattoo parlors and CBD stores..... However, my stay was on the FAR UPPER END of Pigeon Forge,so those places were not within my view. There are some GREAT RESTAURANT CHOICES---more than enough. STREAMLINER DINER was a fun choice for me. There's a pink Cadillac set up in the middle of the restaurant, and there is an actual table between the front and rear seats so you can enjoy your meal RIGHT THERE inside the car. Cool place reminiscent of THE FABULOUS FIFTIES!!!! If you were a fan of HAPPY DAYS, this diner is right up your alley!!!! SODA FOUNTAIN drinks & shakes too!

I love Pigeon Forge. The views are stunning.

I love Pigeon Forge. The views are stunning. There are plenty of options for food & activities no matter the ages in your group. There are games, arcade, go cart tracks & so much more. Plus there are quite a few options for shows and lots of shopping options. Getting around is super easy. Take your car or walk down the strip on the sidewalks. There are also trolley options & fun rentals of scooters, UTVs, Pink Jeeps & more. We loved the experience at the Hard Rock Cafe. The Alcatraz East museum was very interesting. The experience at Dick’s Last Resort was extremely fun. Too much to list all the awesome things offered.

What a great hotel. Comfortable, clean and well-equipped rooms. You have a microwave, coffee machine, a large refrigerator and many other things that equip the room very well. The bathroom is not large but very comfortable. The breakfast has many options, a large dining area and everything is fresh. The hotel is very well located, it has WiFi, parking, and a charging area for electric vehicles.

A great hotel for our stay to visit Dollywood. Room was exceptionally clean - especially the bathroom. Staff were super friendly and polite. We had a river view, which I would highly recommend as it was lovely and quiet. A great room, decent breakfast and parking was included. A great value for money stay!

Was in a handy location to access the stampede. Good if just passing through and want cheap no frills accommodations. Only stayed one night and changed to a better hotel. Pool looked nice, breakfast was basic but passable for the price of the room, parking was free.
