I was here to embark a cruise. I had one full day free between arrival and departing. I had visited Everglades previously and am not a big fan of beaches, so i found a limited number of things to do. I took a water taxi -spent about 3 hours on it - and enjoyed walking in Los Olas.

Everything was really nice, they could offer a complimentary breakfast like other hotels, not just coffee. And when working in job like motel work staff should be able to understand the customer. I ask a housekeeper a question, she told me she doesn't speak English.Nothing against it we have all races in the US, some English should be understood.

Lauderdale by the Sea is great for all ages, kids can enjoy the pool or ocean. beach chairs & towels seem to be available at a lot of motels, this is a great convenience to visitors. Umbertos has great pizza, we didn't eat out all the time, as it was great to pick up a few groceries at Publix or Walmart and have sandwiches/hot chicken for meals throughout our stay. Minimally a bar fridge and microwave, and coffee maker are a great asset in a room when you're there for a 7 to 10+ day stay.

It was okay.
It was okay. I think the transportation service could have been better. We were dropped off at arrivals instead of departure to travel to Chicago which made it a little inconvenient for a traveler with disability.

Firstly, the customer service was exceptional in all areas. The room was very clean and lovely. The bed was very comfortable. They provided two gratis drinks at their bar. The bartender was wonderful and the atmosphere was conducive to friendly chat. The location was very good. The hotel is a block from the Fort Lauderdale Art Museum and approximately 2.5 blocks from stores and many well known restaurants. We could walk to Starbucks, Eddie V's which were a half a block away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return !
Best hotel price quality ratio in South Florida. Located at the Beachfront, there are also two swimming pools surrounded by fifty year old Australian pines and many plants. Spacious and comfortable rooms, some with fully equipped kitchens. Excellent breakfast. Family business run by its owners: very kind people, you will feel at home. Close to Sunrise Boulevard (Shopping Mall area) and Las Olas (Nightlife zone). August 2022 was my first time and it won’t be the last!
I booked this property because it had free shuttle from Fort Lauderdale airport to motel AND free shuttle to Port Everglades. Beds were comfy and had a variety of pillows. My kids used the pool and we enjoyed spending time there. Even though it is in the middle of highways & freeways, it was quiet and felt like it was not easily accessible to public. There were some cute photo opportunities with giant beach chair, alligator, turtle, and several other statues.
Absolutely exceeded all my expectations. The room (king sweet with ocean view). 5 stars hands down. Huge room, gorgeous view, extremely clean. Can't believe the price for what you get. This place truly feels like a 5 star high end hotel, but at the same time you feel like your on a island and not Florida. The staff were incredible and amazed that all the beach chairs, floats, kids toys are all free use. Will never stay anywhere else again in Fort lauderdale
Room was great looked well kept and updated . Appliances looked new. Pool and hot tub area was very inviting and has three gas grills for use . Parking is FREE like it should be , many places in Fort Lauderdale want another$15- $30 dollars a day to park your car. also has pool towels and some beach chairs when available.
Also many places to eat in walking distance. Beach just a short easy walk .
My main draw point to this hotel was the fact that they offered a free shuttle service from the fort Lauderdale Airport to the Hotel and back. If it wasn't for this, I would have not stayed here. Also when ordering food through Doordash, the Dasher delivered straight to the front door of the room.
Friendly guy on reception! Really liked him. I was honest and told him, for rating 4/10 I didnt expect this. Our room was nice, clean, and not stinky after couple of hotels we used in Florida. I would give it 7, or even 8. Maybe our room was exception, but cant tell.
The property is very close to the cruise terminal which is why we stayed. It is in a quieter area of Fort Lauderdale which we really enjoyed. the beach was great and the pool was awesome! All the employees were so pleasant and welcoming.
everything from the airport transfer driver William’s personality, the concierge Tuesday, the immaculate common area restrooms, the bartender outside Tuesday evening. the location was wonderful on the beach for good price.
Staff was finally friendly (after so many unfriendly other hotels employees), room spacious, location 10am from FLL airport. Breakfast included that was a plus, with a buffet rather than limited options.
Great location with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Had easy car parking availability and a functional kitchen. Hotel has sun lounges and umbrellas on the beach for guests as well.
After previously living in Fort Lauderdale area for 20 years I was very surprised this hotel was there it is beautiful and very nicely remodeled I would definitely return
The convenience stores and restaurants, convined with the close location to beach and airport make this hotel the best option to crash one or two nights on FLL
Close to Airport and Cruise Terminal.
The hotel was clean and modern the bathrooms were great with walk in showers not those awful step over bath type.
