The location was good, just .10 of a mile walk to the beach. Walmart right across the road, and quick access to local restraunts. The breakfast was nice as well.

    There's a lot of kid friendly stuff in Galveston. This makes it the perfect little, quick trip, get away spot for families. From dolphin tours, to pleasure pier there's plenty to do. With lot's of dining options and beach access it's always a win.

    We only stayed 1 night, to catch the cruise ship the next day. I was very happy with the Hotel & Staff. Had a covered parking area and Parking fee was only $20.00 to leave car parked there while on a 8 day cruise. The room was clean, had a refrigerator & microwave. I will return!

    Galveston is great for people who love to fish.

    Galveston is great for people who love to fish. There are piers and jetties and all sorts of places to fish. As for swimming, the beaches weren't too crowded and the kids enjoyed it. I also enjoyed taking our dog for long walks on the beach.

    Galveston is beautiful, and the beach views were perfect for our celebration. The seafood was amazing, and the vibe felt peaceful yet lively. However, be prepared for biting bugs on the beach—we all got bitten just from standing in the sand for a short time. Bring insect repellent if you plan to be outside by the water. Still, it was a great trip overall, and we’d definitely visit again!

    I spent a lot of my younger years in Galveston and our family had a beach house in Port Bolivar. So I always love going there. It's a charming historical place. It always reminds me of a smaller version of New Orleans. I love the Strand and there are some really fantastic restaurants and some beautiful places to stay. There's something for everyone. Great couples getaway... great family playground. Sugar and Rye great restaurant with awesome staff. Katie's Seafood House is just amazing. The only true spot on the Island where the food is caught daily by local fishing boats, brought directly to Katie's Fish Market on ice and cooked and served fresh. Doesn't get any better than that. Rudy & Paco is a gem. Vargas is great. And there are just so many options.

    A very well-located hotel from which to explore Galveston. The staff were brilliant and friendly and the room very comfortable and clean. A good, cooked breakfast was a surprise and very welcome. Parking was excellent and with a very good supermarket located right next door, a perfect stay for sure. Very good value for money, these guys are trying hard, well done.

    Charming, comfortable hotel with super friendly staff in a nice location in Galveston. The general atmosphere and non-buffet breakfast are very refreshing on a trip with mostly dull chain hotels. Would definitely recommend!
