Room was clean and quiet. Bed was soft, air conditioning worked well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Pool and spa was decent. Good price and great location-convenient to everything (downtown and the train station). It was nice to just park and walk where we needed to go. We look forward to coming back.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nice, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hospitality from the staff was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is also excellent—close to the river, which made it convenient and enjoyable to explore the area. Overall, a great place to stay.

The best part of this little cabin is what is on the outside; the deck is very pleasant with two rocking chairs and a nice teak table. The fire pit and charcoal grilling facilities along with the picnic table made for fun evenings outside. The cabins are surrounded by huge trees and forests and the split rail fencing makes for a beautiful setting.

The location is good. The sausage biscuits in the morning are good along with the hot coffee. The restaurant there is very good. We really enjoyed our dinner there on the first night! These two things are the ONLY reason for the 3. If not for them it would be a solid 1. The porch has a swing and rocking chairs if you would like to sit out and watch traffic go by. We were there in the heat so did not take advantage of those. The pool was nice and has a few different seating options. We were going out to sit by the pool when a storm came up and we did not get to even get in the water. Nothing the resort could control. It is a nice place however we will never stay there again and will definitely advise anyone who may be wanting to book there to find another place to stay. You will see the reason below.

This place is beautiful and relaxing! In reality it is even nicer than the photos Everything was so clean and organized. you can feel that everything was done with top quality materials That bed was so comfortable Melissa, Rosa and Haley accomidated everything we can think of and always with a smile. Felt like a family Breakfast was great, with a large variety for the whole family. Dinner was delicious and the chef was communicating with us before to check what we like The SPA was amazing! Definitely a must!

    Enjoyed the outdoors with our grandsons.

    Enjoyed the outdoors with our grandsons. The weather wasn't ideal, but we spent a day taking the train ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad from Bryson City to the Nantahala Gorge, which was made even more memorable by the onboard entertainment! At our grandson's request, the "one man band" musician performed, Take Me Home Country Roads." Such fun!!

    We rode the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to the Nantahala Gorge. Excellent adventure and everyone waves at the train! Don't miss the Fontana Dam. Beautiful drive and lots of natural beauty and history.

    Nice city, plenty of restaurants and small shops. Train ride was great and food on the train was very, very good. Best pork dinner I've every had. Our host on the train ( McNiel car) ,I believe his name was Dave was fantastic. Very helpful with getting my wifes wheelchair and her on and off the train.

    We were in town to ride the Easter Bunny train.

    We were in town to ride the Easter Bunny train. Best train ride (most scenic) we have experienced other than The Alaska Railroad! This train and crew is top notch. They even stopped the train to fight a small fire that erupted near the track; but it ballooned and they had to look to our safety on the train and get us away.

    Nice little downtown area. Just a few blocks long. Good restaurants and coffee shop. The outskirts of town really dilapidated and trashy. Very close to national park and lake fontana. Lots of outdoor recreation opportunities.

    We walked the entire town.

    We walked the entire town. Very nice stores and friendly folks. Dinner at Italian restaurant was good. I am not sure why it was necessary to pay $10 for train parking. There was empty parking spots and lots everywhere, since it is off season.

    McKinley Edwards Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. The breakfast buffet has a good range of choice and the hot option varies each day. The owner is very pleasant and welcoming and we had a great stay. Bryson City is a convenient location for exploring the Smokies, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, as well as the activities offered in Nantahala, Fontana, and Deep Creek. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

    we enjoyed the cabin, although the dirt road to get up there is a little sketchy, you just have to maintain your speed going up and down, it was away from everywhere, so if you are looking for a quiet place to get away from people then this is your cabin. to get to Bryson City, it's only about 10 minutes away. the beds were very comfortable, The kitchen had more than enough supplies if you intend on cooking at the cabin.

    The location was great, we were visiting from England UK, initially starting in Gatlinburg and visiting Bryson City just for the night for the polar express which was about a pleasant 15min walk away. Very easy to find and loved how convenient this hotel was. Clean, bed was comfy, a great one night stay
