Would like a 1st floor room on next reservation I accidentally left my glasses by the hot tub and discovered it after everything had closed for the night security was nice enough to go into the office and there they were on the desk with a note that somebody had found them I greatly appreciate that as I did not bring my contacts with me on that trip

Ogunquit is either a tourist trap cleverly disguised as a town or vice versa. I grew up near there and still haven't figured it out after 60 years. The Marginal Way is a very scenic walk. We often drive up from Central Massachusetts with the sole purpose of strolling it and sitting on the rocks. Seldom stay the night. Hannaford's up the road in Wells is a good place to shop for food if you prefer to not blow all your dough in restaurants. Still over-priced for a grocery store, though, but has decent selections. In the summer, the traffic is ridiculous in the center of town. There is a 6-way intersection where there should be either a traffic circle, a police officer, traffic lights - or even all three. It backs up for a mile or more in either direction and parking can be limited, so be aware if you are a new visitor.

This town is my most favorite place to go.
This town is my most favorite place to go. It is best just off season to avoid the crowds. Beautiful beach and Perkins Cove is quaint. Lots of quality restaurants. Shopping outlets are just a few miles down the road. The local play house also has quality performances.

Great location. Close to (walking distance) beach and town.
Great location. Close to (walking distance) beach and town. Rooms outdated but very clean. Staff from the front desk to those who clean very friendly and quick to respond to your requests. Indoor pool a plus on rainy days. Would recommend.
Excellent location, a few minutes walk to the heart of beautiful Ogunquit and the beach. You'll be greeted by a pleasant scent specially curated for Grasshopper Inn. The building is pristine, and the room was divine. I am very particular when it comes to cleanliness and this place did not disappoint. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were picked out so well. So many nice things to say about this place, I don't think I'd look at any other place to stay when I visit this part of Maine!!
Finished our fall leave peeper trip at Ogunquit. Chose the Sparhawk as it was on the beach. Wonderful room with king size bed and two large comfortable chairs positioned as to see the ocean. We experienced a Nor'ester storm while we were there and the staff were very helpful in explaining what to expect! No problems with the storm except that we spent alot of time in the room with this awesome view of the storm!!
we (mother and son traveling together) appreciated the bedroom being separate and having a door for privacy; loved the spa tub. Having 2 TVs much appreciated. Blankets, pillows, towels were great; shower hot water and pressure great. Couch easy for one person to set up. I was so excited to be able to see river and ocean past the Trolley Depot - first time ever this has happened staying on Rt 1 lodgings in Ogunquit!
Terrace by the Sea is in a fabulous location! We parked our car for the whole weekend and walked everywhere. It is walking distance to Marginal Way, the beach, and stores and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean! There was a continental breakfast in the morning which was perfect for our needs. I will definitely revisit this hotel on my next trip to a Ogunquit!
Charles and David were simply great hosts! The room was clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious. There are also awesome restaurants in the area (The Maine Catch!).
Good spot to explore southern Maine. Ogunquit itself is small town which many shops and restaurants which can be reached by foot.
We visitied at the end of season, hence it was less crowded then normal.
The location is amazing. We go to Ogunquit all the time during the summer, and have never been able to get a room at the Marginal Way House in peak season. We decided to take a shoulder season trip over, and were so excited to be able to book there. We were up in the morning and walking the Marginal Way to Perkin's Cove and back. Such a wonderful walk, no matter the weather.
comfortable accommodations along Highway 1; easy access to Ogunquit, Wells, Kittery, Sanford, and points beyond; breakfast options exceeded expectations; while we didn't use the, the opportunity to barbecue own food is a great option; quiet hotel; close proximity to Footbridge Beach in Ogunquit; easy access to local restaurants.
The resort was really a motel, exactly on the border of Ogunquit and Wells. But a few minutes drive or walk from all restaurants and other services. Motel is convenient with car parked right outside our room. Breakfast was quite basic but ok. Staff helpful and mostly friendly.
The location to the heart of Ogunquit is their biggest plus. The early check-in was nice and appreciated. The shower was good and the first towel supplied was thick and absorbent. The replacement on the 3rd day not so much!
The location of this hotel is perfect, right on the beach as advertised. The room was very clean (except for the small window screen in the bathroom). The view was amazing. The setup of the room was perfect for our needs.
Location was great as close to both Ogunquit and Wells beaches. Room was spacious and clean and shower was good and hot. Liked the pool although it was a bit small for laps. Jacuzzi outside was wonderful!
Love this hotel have stayed here many times this particular time we got a room with a king size bed. The location was beautiful and we will be back once again soon! We love Ogunquit!
The suites were very comfortable and well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a long day of exploring Ogunquit.
Hotel was very close to the beach, trolley pickup & a restaurant on the beach where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Office staff were very accommodating.
