I love visiting Milwaukee! Such an interesting mix of neighborhoods and cultures. Great food and entertainment. The lakeshore is beautiful. Aside from the continual road construction, it is relatively easy to get around the city. The Third Ward and Milwaukee Public Market are one of my favorite areas. A great place to grab a cup of coffee and people watch. The lakeshore is beautiful!

The hotel staff were very helpful in every way.
The hotel staff were very helpful in every way. The accommodations were wonderful. There was only one problem. Because of the winter storm, the sidewalks were not cleared enough for safety. Timing of the storm was likely the problem. Otherwise we were very pleased with our stay.

Rude hotel staff. Barley spoke to us.
Rude hotel staff. Barley spoke to us. Man had a bad attitude. Room reeked like cigar. Rooms and hallways are dirty and disgusting. It looks like all they do is make the bed and restock toilet paper. Front desk staff was unprofessional and speaking about another guest when I came to the desk. I stood there dor a minute looking at them and listening before I was greeted. Unfriendly staff.

I had the best dining experience at Carson's Barbecue and Grill. Great food and place to eat! I had taken a tour of the city, I was amazed by the parks, they are so beautiful and well kept. The city is very clean, and I love the architecture, the culture, the people. I really enjoyed my stays at Milwaukee. Also, getting around the city was really easy, you can walk to everything, I had the best time at the Gotham museum. This is the place I definitely want to retire. I am thinking about returning this winter.
We had superior king with separate living room area. We were three persons. Two slept in king bed, and one slept on sofa bed. The room was nice, mordern and clean. Bathroom was with separate toilet. Shower was large. Wifi was good speed. We parked in garage under hotel. Elevator from garage went up to hotel lobby. A tip, prebook at Parkit, $20 for 24 hours. Breakfast was a la carte. Food was great. Live band in the evening, this was on thursday. Great atmosphere. We really liked this hotel.
This was our first time staying at a Home2Suites. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown walking/driving distance to many restaurants Milwaukee Public Market and many more. The room comes with a microwave full size refrigerator and dishwasher with utensils and plates which is awesome when you want to store or reheat your food. There’s a cool sitting area outside with a fire pit for summer/winter nights. We arrived early and the staff was very accommodating to get us checked in early.
The price is extremely reasonable for an all-around "pretty nice" hotel in Milwaukee. It's about 2.5 miles from the downtown area which is an easy walk, or there is a free shuttle that the hotel offers to get you around. The place was clean, and the beds were decently comfortable! There is Chromecast in the rooms which makes it easy to watch whatever you were watching at home (assuming your smartphone connects to the wifi).
Location was excellent. The purpose of our trip was going to a Milwaukee Bucks game and the arena is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast was nice, food was good, variety of foods ok. Got everything we need.
Staff was also friendly but would have been better if they had done something about the noise in the middle of the night.
Would reccomend this hotel but ask for a room on higher floor than 2nd.
The receptionist , Anya, was extremely helpful ! We needed to find a drug store and she actually called a few stores to see if they carried the item we needed ( I wish we had a store like MetroMart here where we live …..it has everything ) .
She patiently answered all our questions about the area and about Milwaukee . She had a cab to the airport waiting for us in 5 minutes . Thank you for all of your help!
I liked how close it is to downtown Milwaukee, the price of the room was fantastic I used booking.com which I use regularly for hotel stays. They did not disappoint. That extra $50 that you have to pay at your stay is actually reacted to the price from booking.com. So you get that back at the end of your stay, which I like that. The staff is is Holiday Inn is amazing! Will definitely stay again.
What a find! This hotel is just amazing. Check-in was quick and easy (Kenny, I hope that was his name, was extremely friendly and courteous). The rooms are huge, clean and tidy. Refrigerator, ironing/board, power shower, USB charging points. Close to downtown and parking. Fitness suite was great. *This hotel was booked at the last minute, due to another hotel in the area letting us down.*
I don’t even know where to begin! This is exactly the idea I have when I think of the ideal hotel. I absolutely loved all the retro touches that have been kept over the years, but I appreciate that everything within the room is super modern! The location is right in the heart of downtown which made my stay even easier. Overall one of the best places I’ve stayed in.
Beautiful hotel near downtown. Glen, the gentleman who checked us in, was warm and friendly and went out of his way to explain everything - thanks, Glen! Hot tub was nice, as was free snacks late afternoon / early evening, though drinks were not up to standard - preferred to pay for better drinks the second evening. Bed was very comfy!.
Great location, close to Shorewood and downtown Milwaukee. Housekeeping did a great job. Free parking. Nice view of the river, and there is a trail right behind the hotel. Helpful and conscientious reception. Lots of dog walking areas.
Location, design, ambiance, staff, "Ash" the in hotel restaurant and the comfort. Enjoyed probably the best prepared Steak there ever. Bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Beautiful Decor...well stocked mini bar
