FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Las Vegas is the place to be when one combines pleasure and nature. I had the most fun at Freemont where I witnessed the meaning of "free expression" to the max. It was the first time that I sniffed the aroma of a plant only Las Vegas would allow, I guess. Of course, there is no Las Vegas without playing in the slot machines. I did lose, but thankfully, not my soul. And for the nature lovers, a drive to the Fire Valley State Park is a must. One will not only witness the stark contrast of the rocks found there, but the beauty of tranquility. And Hoover Dam is not only for the engineers' eyes. One can de-stress by just looking at the surroundings below it. Not that I've forgotten. It is better to drive your own car whether rented or owned if your intention is to make the most of your day.

    I want to like it.

I want to like it. The themed hotels, the lights, the shows… but it just feels run down. Like a gallon of milk that has been in the fridge too long. It looks fine and was good once, but you open it up and realize it’s gone rancid. Just boring and shabby and everywhere you look is another scheme to separate you from your money, and it’s not even trying to give you a show anymore.

There is so much to do even if you do not gamble.

There is so much to do even if you do not gamble. Arte Museum is a must do. Awakenings was a fantastic production. Gordon Ramsay’s Burger was great. View from the top of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular and breath taking. Fremont Street was fun! The Backstreet Boys concert at the Sphere was phenomenal!

You do not have to be on the strip it have fun, there are other places and nightlife within Vegas you can enjoy like Big Jerk and Passions Hookah Lounge Loved Mariposa for brunch Paradise for Jamaican (try the goat) And Los Olivios for Italian!! Fresh bread and fresh ingredients! Tried sardines for the first time there and they were delicious

    Housekeeping Department:

Housekeeping Department: It took a considerable amount of time for housekeeping to respond to my requests. Throughout my stay, the room was neither cleaned nor was the trash collected. I had to call multiple times just to receive basic items like towels and body wash, and even then, the supplies provided were insufficient. Billing Department: I was charged $89.00 for removing items from the minibar refrigerator so I could store my own drinks. I was unaware that the refrigerator had sensors that automatically charge for item removal. I did not consume any of the minibar items, and I believe it would have been more appropriate for the billing team to investigate before applying the charge to my account.

Stay at a hotel that doesn’t have casino.

Stay at a hotel that doesn’t have casino. It’s cleaner, quieter, no smoke, less crowded. There’s always a pool for daytime play & a quick ride to casinos for playing & dining. It’s a wonderful to return to a quiet room & rest.

We had an upgrade on our room by the hotel. The room was located higher and bigger with a view onthe Bellagio fountain. PH is well situated on the strip. It has an underground entrance to take Uber or Taxi. The casino is very typical Las Vegas.
