I'll definitely be coming back to Bath.
I'll definitely be coming back to Bath. It's close to Bowdoin College and to the music festival, and has a smaller, more intimate feel than Brunswick. It's a Mecca for bookstores, especially used and antiquarian book shops.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0
Great town homes are huge and beautiful.
Great town homes are huge and beautiful. Lots of architectural designs to see. Prime reason was husband was in navy here so we visited the naval museum in Brunswick which is close to Bath. Many shops and restaurants and very walkable.Guest review byDeborah - 8.0
Bath is an old shipbuilding town with plenty of history.
Bath is an old shipbuilding town with plenty of history. The downtown area was charming with some nice shops and a few restaurants. Covid-19 was not kind to Bath as some businesses did not survive the reduction in visitors. The shipbuilding museum was fantastic and there are plenty of places to get some antiques and even some used books. The city lacks the luster of some of the other cities in Maine that are bigger tourist draws.
