We had a lovely time. The Bavarian inn has been around for a long time. My family stayed there 20:years ago for a wedding. It was a trip down memory lane. The building is on the older side, but it was comfortable and clean. The staff was always available and helpful. At one point my husband lost $200 that slipped behind the fireplace shelf. The lady at the front desk came in and helped us fish it out with a hanger. We loved the fact that the hotel is one of the trolley stops to downtown Eureka. It was fun to go out and explore the town and then have the trolley bring us back to the hotel. The pool was nice and cold and great to come back to on the hot afternoons.

We really enjoyed staying here. The location in the old town is perfect, and having parking available made things so much easier since we never had to worry about finding a spot. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived—everyone from the front desk to the bar and housekeeping was genuinely kind and helpful. The building itself is wonderful too; it honors the historic character of the area while still offering the modern comforts that make for a relaxing stay. Altogether, it’s such a warm and inviting place that we felt right at home.

The room was clean and the jacuzzi tub was nice. We were close to the pool and the pool was wonderful. It was clean and I like that it is private, the traffic can't see you, the scenery is beautiful around the hotel and pool. We had a problem with the TV but she was really quick to get it fixed as soon as we called her.

    Loved the little shops and the friendliness of the people. We went during the weekdays as it fit our schedule. Loved the doggie shop and got out fur baby some ice cream that I made for her, she loves it. And a few treats. The little cafe downtown had good food at a decent price also.

    Eureka Springs is set in the beautiful Ozarks with breathtaking scenery. But the town itself is outdated, and appears to only be catering to motorcycle bikers. We rode the trolley’s four city routes and saw much of the city and countryside. That was a cheap way to see it all at $10/two day ticket with unlimited rides. Parking is tight in the historic downtown, so the trolley was helpful. We went on a dinner train ride that was fun but could be expensive for families. Enjoyed our 2 day trip, but will not go back.

    Eureka Springs has so many attractions!

    Eureka Springs has so many attractions! The Christ of the Ozarks is awe inspiring. I loved the entire venue at The Great Passion Play. The Holy Land tour, the Bible museum, the Sacred Arts museum, dinner at the amazing Great Hall buffet, and the mind blowing Great Passion Play! The big cats and bears at Turpentine Creek, up close and personal. Plus all the unique shops and great eating places.

    Although the downtown area is very cute it is very crowded...

    Although the downtown area is very cute it is very crowded and somewhat dilapidated. A lot of business and buildings are empty and closed. We loved the Passion play, tour of the Holy Land to which the buffet needs to step it up a little.

    I loved the nature feel I enjoye the Ozark woods. My favorites spots with the kids were Crownthorn chapel, Christ of Ozark park, Beaver Dam site beach, there was another lake i can't think of its name it has a play ground and a bigfoot statue my kids loved that play ground. I disliked the drive around downtown Eureka Springs I was able to park because you have to pay a parking fee next visit I will take the trolley there and park my car at the hotel. I also was a bit scared driving up to Eureka springs because of the elevation the mountain drive may make some sick. But were adjusted afterward.

    Eureka Springs has cute touristy shops, variety of restaurants, artists' galleries and shops. Not for the mobility- challenged! Lots of walking over uneven pavement, hilly streets and stairways to the next level up. Wear comfortable shoes! A tram can take you around. (We didn't try it.) The narrow streets can be busy, so best park and walk. Mid-week, when we visited, is quieter, no waits at restaurants, but some things closed.
