This is a very friendly and busy city with around 8 million motorbikes all on the road at the same time - watch out they even use the footpath! - crossing the road is a bit of a challenge :-) Great for a short break but not many land mark sites to see - in my opinion 3/5 days is plenty. The city feels safe day and night with plenty of restaurants and bars to visit.

very busy traffic is crazy not a lot of english spoken or on signs to help you know what they say good weather Grab is better than a taxi as they are cheaper and more reliable chinatown markets a bit confusing because some places are wholesale and some retail and you dont' know what is what the people don't speak english we found saigon market better prices good quality becareful of pick pockets not as busy as Ben Than markets Try the hop on hop off

You may struggle to find the food you like, but there are places that sell exactly what you want, but as it's such a big mad place, you may never actually find them. A frenetic city which has much to offer travellers. Learning about the history and seeing images of its war torn past was very moving. Definitely recommend taking a guided tour. Taxis are very cheap and safer than trying to navigate the crazy traffic!
