    We travel to Hermanus regularly to visit family. It is a beautiful location with stunning views of both beach and mountains. The town centre has a huge selection of cafes and restaurants, with lots of galleries and gift shops locally also. The town and cliff path are safe and so scenic. My kids love the freedom to cycle around Voelklip or go the beaches.

    We loved the walks, the boat ride out to see the whales, the easy shopping for gifts, clothes and food, and lots of cafes and restaurants. Also swimming at our hotel was possible which was great for mid-winter. We ate in local cafes and in our hotel restaurant. Lots of activities for families, and for couples, or single travellers.

    Loved Hermanus with beautiful little shops and cafes. The scenuc walks along the Cliff and beaces makes it a destination well worth your money. It rates much higher than mist other holiday destinations with fantastic restuarants to experience various cuisines and scenic places to enjoy a meal.

    Hermanus is known for its whale watching, but when that is not in season, it is well situated to Wine Estates, outdoor activities like mountain biking, hiking and many other outdoor activities. There are so many different types of restaurants, you will never not be able to choose somewhere to eat.

    Hermanus is lovely.

    Hermanus is lovely. Lots of art galleries, super coffee stops.. nice walk around. We enjoyed the Hemel en Aarde Valley - wine Region - fantastic wine farms with friendly tastings, fantastic food and just a very very beautiful valley to drive up. Definitely not to be missed!!!

    Hermanus is a tourist attraction and a holiday destination. It can be expensive but if you know your way around you can find best food for a reasonable price. Very clean and safe. It is always on top on my list of holiday destinations. I love the beach. Great brazmata coffee at Engen.

    A perfect serene stay in a quiet rocky bay (away from the hustle and bustle of central Hermanus). The room was enormous with a breathtaking sea view. Relaxed atmosphere throughout. Direct access to the coastal walking path. Onsite free parking with a daily car wash. Excellent breakfast with many different options. The hotel has the most outstanding staff (accommodating, efficient, knowledgeable) adding to the perfection. I dream of returning!

    if you go to Hermanus. you have to stay here! An incredibly warm welcome, with amazing hosts who have a vast amount of local knowledge and they were so kind. The location was wonderful right near the cliff path. Room was spotless and beautiful, the breakfast was outstanding and better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! we had a wonderful time.
