We stayed at the Three Horseshoes over New Year. It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

This unspoilt 16th-century coaching inn overlooks the rolling countryside and offers a warm welcome and good food in a relaxed, traditional setting between Oxford and Cheltenham.

The Head Chef, Christophe Arcalis, creates menus that feature seasonal local produce. The Inn also specialises in fresh fish, all delivered daily, direct from Devon and Cornwall.

Towels were exceptionally thick, soft and White. Bed linnen made the nights' sleep really cozy, being made out of White Cotton. Food excellent, tasty and fresh! View of Garden, beautiful. Parking on site. Breakfast in Conservatory Will definitely rebook when possible.

    Location: beautiful small Cotswold village a few miles from Burford. Room: lovely with river view and great facilities, and very comfortable bed. Pub: lovely atmosphere and fantastic food - we had dinner and breakfast. The manager was particularly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend!

    Lovely inn with a cute family room we all enjoyed! We also dined here and enjoyed the food. The grounds were very pretty - it was everything we'd hope for, including a full breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff too!

    The Angel is a wonderful place to stay! A little rustic jewel in this beautiful Cotswold village. The bar and restaurant areas are so cozy with a log burner roaring away! The staff were very friendly and attentive and dinner was delicious! The room was an amazing size and also lovely and warm for a cold winters night. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Will definitely be staying again!
