We're drawn to Old Town atmospheres and Heidelberg didn't...
We're drawn to Old Town atmospheres and Heidelberg didn't disappoint us. The main square was filled with folks eating, drinking, and enjoying each other's company. It was a happy place to be! Of course the enormous castle on the hill added to the ambiance.

The room itself was cozy but well furnished, with easy to use AC and a nice view of the river. Breakfast being included automatically was very welcome as well. Also, staff are incredibly helpful and although I didn't speak German, I never had trouble communicating with them.

Staff was helpful finding us a laundry (drop off in nearby Universitätsplatz and pick up later same day)
