My second visit. This is such a well maintained historic building. It’s truly beautiful inside. Elegant. I love the nostalgic framed artefacts around the hotel. It symbolises a very caring and respectful management who embrace the past history. I was delighted to use Elemis toiletries in the bathroom. What a treat. Well stocked teas and coffees. Delicious cocktails with excellent bar service.

Manchester has so much to offer visitors. There's something for everyone. Culture, music, excellent venues and lots of restaurants. The trams are easy to get around on and easy to use. Although, it's possible to walk to all the visitor attractions. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Was awarded a bus lane fine when using a road that has times when you can't drive a car along it, theres very little signage and most likely catches all visitors out, the town is grubby and full of people begging. Plenty of places to eat and drink but very little else.

It is a good place to visit football match.

It is a good place to visit football match. The centre of the city is for one day. Very good local transport (trams), the top is near the hotel. Very good place, if you want to visit more form this part of England. Perfect train connection for one day trip to Liverpool, York, Chester or Nottingham. Very good connection to Wales (Conwy, Anglesey) and easy to get the Isle of Man by plane from the Manchester Airport. Very good but big Shopping Centre Trafford. Around the hotel calm and fine quorter the Salford Quays full of international restaurant, pubs and shops. By tram it is couple of minutes to Deansgate Castlefield part, where is also nice walk around river channels and to visit some fine local restaurant or pub.

Very nice spacious hotel and good rooms with views over canals. Lovely peaceful location with easy access to Manchester City Centre, as well as walking distance to Lowry Gallery & Theatre plus Media City and Salford Quays eating/drinking and shopping. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Also fabulous staff who work super hard and keep everyone happy - even when 90% of the guests turn up at the same time for breakfast and pile their plates sky high with everything they can lay their hands on!

Central location which is ideal for city stays, business, events/venues, work etc with the hotel being virtually right next to the train station and a few minute walk into the city center. The reception staff were accommodating and friendly. The room as they have been with every Motel One I've stayed in were clean and well presented. I got a nice view of the old fire station directly opposite which was great to see up close and personal some of Manchester's historical architecture!
