Excellent location close to attractions and restaurants and bars. We had an exceptional large room which was all we can ask for with all the facilities we needed. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

The room was small, but the details were great: velvet curtains, antique radio that was on when I came in, nice art on the walls....And a great breakfast in the cafe downstairs

The room was amazing. Probably one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for us.
The breakfasts were also excellent.

The room boasted high ceilings and ample space, complemented by blackout curtains guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. While not situated in the city's heart, its proximity to a nearby bus stop made it conveniently accessible. The peaceful ambiance of the area made a leisurely 2-mile stroll to the city center quite appealing. Attention to detail was evident throughout, with pleasant and intriguing decor featuring soothing neutral tones. The spacious bathroom was a highlight, though I regretted not having more time to indulge in it. Overall, the atmosphere felt welcoming and hospitable, akin to being at home. I enthusiastically recommend this place for a delightful stay.
Opened in December 2016, No.15 Great Pulteney is situated just a 3-minute stroll from Pulteney Bridge, Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths.

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
The architecture in Bath is amazing. The Roman Baths take your breath away!
The city was easy to walk around and the large vehicle free zone was much appreciated.
The gorgeous parks gave us a peaceful feeling after visiting the many tourist hotspots.

Opportunity of joining in morning prayers 🙏🙏. Our meals at All bar one & Miller & Carter were very good. The Lansdown Grove hotel was really good & had lovely staff. Also pleased we stayed there as able to walk into bath although steep walk had choice of regular busses or taxis.

Bath is a great city.
Bath is a great city. It was the accommodation that was the problem, we were entirely mislead by photos of the interior and exterior.
Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants are a bit pricey.
Lots to see and do.

this is a lovely city to visit, and I really enjoyed what there was to do and the dining options were great!
I would visit again!
The Roman Bath tour is wonderful, and I really enjoyed the Thermae Bath Spa - highly recommend it! It was easy to take the train to Salisbury and see Stonehenge from here as well.
It is easy to get around walking or else jump in a taxi. We took the train to Bath from London - 1 1/2 hours so easy to get to.
I was disappointed in the hotel we stayed at and would not go there again, but it looks like there are many other lovely places to stay.

Walking around Bath is fascinating.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Staff were lovely and most helpful. We were served by Clio and she was brilliant.
The hotel is clean and modern, a very pleasant place to be.
The location is perfect, right in the centre of Bath with everything you need within a few minutes walk.
Facilities are fantastic. Lovely Swimming pool with Sauna and Steam room to use free of charge.
We were worried about there being no car park but there is a very large public carpark 3/4 minutes walk away with ample spaces (Charlotte Street).
Room was big and had all the things one would expect in a decent hotel, and is modern and well thought-out. Toilet and shower were good, and the shower system had integrated controls for temperature and flow rate (i.e. it isn't the kind where the hot and cold water have separate knobs and you have to make corrections bit by bit to get the temperature and flow rate you want). Buffet breakfast was wonderful for such a cheap price.
Note: If you are getting here by train, Oldfield Park is nearer than Bath Spa to this hotel.
Love this hotel. We will definitely stay in this hotel chain again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located in the heart of Bath. The room was very clean. Great wifi. Air conditioning easy to control & worked well. Although the rooms are small, they are well designed to provide everything needed to make one's stay very comfortable. Highly recommend.
The whole experience at Gainsborough Spa was fantastic, really warm welcome and complimentary room upgrade on arrival. Help with parking and drinks whilst we waited to check in. Feels more like a boutique hotel with nice visibility of staff , friendly, professional and attentive. Everything was easy, uncomplicated and relaxing Spa experience. Breakfast was very good.
We loved the location. We were able to walk up to the hotel from the train station. It was a beautiful hotel in a perfect historic location. We were able to walk to town and visit different sites such as the Abbey and the Roman Baths. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast food which we did have to pay for was good and very reasonably priced.
The location is great---steps from the Roman Baths and restaurants and shops. The hotel is novel---all rooms open on a central courtyard and it's in an historic building. Our two rooms were perfect for our group of 5 (4 adults, one teenager). The kitchen was very functional so we were able to eat breakfast together in the room.
train station just across the road Tim on reception was very helpfull if you want a breakfast in the hotel it is best to do it when booking your room as they only have limited space but plenty of bars and restaurants but not cheap best place for a breakfast is Bills Place in centre of the town
Very clean, plenty of room, modern facilities, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV. Friendly and helpful hosts. Much better value for money compared to a hotel. Location only a short walk away from Bath city centre and shops. Off the main road, so very quiet inside.
The location of the hotel was convenient. It is a short walk to the Roman Baths and many restaurants and shops. The four poster room was cozy with a comfy bed. The breakfast was very good.
Location and price are the best compared to other hotels in Bath. I stayed in a single room and it had plenty of space and a sink. Staff members were friendly and helpful.
Great location. Country house hotel vibe but just a 20 min walk into the Bath city centre. Great facilities and spa. I had a massage and facial both were very good
The hotel was in an ideal location in the heart of Bath, with great facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, and good food. It made for a very enjoyable stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. Provided with water, and tea and coffee. Nice to have a hotel in Bath with parking available, albeit limited spaces.
