The staff was very friendly and helpful.. however the room had some problems which could not be fixed at the time of my stay since I checked in late evening and maintenance had already gone home. But the sink would not drain therefore it was dirty the tub and the commode however were very clean the microwave was dirty however the refrigerator was clean the bed sheets on one of the beds had stains when I reported this they said they were in the process of weeding out all of the linens that had stains so that will be taken care of I am sure in the not too distant future the other bed was fine it was perfect actually it was comfortable it was clean and I did enjoy my night's rest if the microwave and the sink had been clean and the sink working properly I would have given it an excellent across the board but they definitely need to get these items taken care of before I could in good conscience give them that good of a score however I would probably stay again in hopes that those problems did not exist any longer

Offering views of the Great Smoky Mountains, this hotel is located on Little Pigeon River in Pigeon Forge and offers an outdoor pool and patio, heated indoor pool and complimentary hot breakfast...

The breakfast area was clean, I was impressed with real dishes instead if paper & plastic products. The breakfast was good although it was basically the same every morning. Sausage patties & links, scrambled eggs, potaoes , biscuits & gravy. It was good. The fireplace outside, sitting outdoors to watch the river & the ducks.. The maintence man was the best he gave us advise on restaurants & other things to do.

FAQs about hotels in Pigeon Forge

A Tennessee Mountain Home

Pigeon Forge is a family entertainment hotbed in the Great Smoky Mountains. Though ‘great’ is quite an understatement, as the sight of blue mist hovering above forested peaks is simply breathtaking.

The most famous attraction is undoubtedly Dollywood, where a steam train puffs around a host of rides and shows in a theme park named after country legend Dolly Parton. Within the grounds is the Southern Gospel Museum and Hall of Fame, and next door are pools and waterslides at Dolly’s Splash Country.

Cowboy boots should be at the ready for the singer’s Dixie Stampede dinner theatre and the Country Tonite Theater, and toe-tapping is also virtually guaranteed at the Grand Majestic Theater and Smoky Mountain Opry.

The Old Mill is a wooden watermill on the Little Pigeon River, once part of a forge complex which sparked the town’s name. Also by the river are some Pigeon Forge outlet malls and the NASCAR SpeedPark which hosts car and truck events. The Elvis Museum houses memorabilia of ‘The King’ while the Titanic Museum is a floating, half-size replica of the doomed ship.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and with Booking.com’s great deals on pet-friendly hotels and cheap motels on Pigeon Forge Parkway, you might just be tempted to do what the town’s sign requests: Y’all come back.

Unfortunately, we arrived during a huge CAR SHOW & Pigeon Forge was JAMMED with cars & people! Terrible traffic jams and total gridlock downtown & on some side streets. Trolleys were either not running at all or stuck in the same traffic jams in the downtown area. We would definitely avoid any huge shows or large crowded activities in the future!! All parking & eating establishments were filled to capacity & then some. NEEDED: Some sort of TRAFFIC CONTROL during these huge events!! There were unmanageable gridlocks for the entire event! NEVER AGAIN.

Pigeon Forge has become my new (Go-To) destination!

Pigeon Forge has become my new (Go-To) destination! Have been here 4 times in under a year and have two more trips planned for spring and summer! Originally my stay was centered around (Dollywood), but when you travel through Severe County and especially (Pigeon Forge), it's hard not to fall in love with this place! There is so much to do here that it never gets old, and I find myself wanting to explore more and more! Wish I lived closer, so I could visit more often! maybe one day I'll move here and be able to enjoy it all...all the time!

We enjoyed our visit to Pigeon Forge sweetly nestled in the Smoky Mountains. We visited the area a couple of years ago and were surprise to see that it is becoming more commercialized. But love the area all the same It is a wonderful place for honey mooners, famlies, and spring breakers. There are great amusement parks and resturants and shopping. However, sadly not very conducive to retirees. Gatlinburg is very close and also a must visit. After enjoying shopping, resturants, and many family activities be sure to enjoy hiking and breathing in the Smoky Moutain scenic views and the crisp fresh air.

A unique community…very adventure entertainment centered. Being able to drive to Great Smoky Mountain national park within 20 minutes, close to Gatlinburg. We’re new to the upstate and it was a great locale for a 3 night getaway. The wheel on the Island, shops and Sky Fly was good fun, Parrot Mountain (10 min drive) was another first for us, so many beautiful birds to interact with. Next time we’ll tackle Dollywood when the great grandkids in tow.

Great location, really close to Dollywood and the main strip. Loved that we had a balcony with a view of the river. Room was really spacious with two basins. Tv in the room and a fridge too. We didn’t use the swimming pool or fire pit in the end but they looked great. You do need a car to get round pigeon forge so having a free parking space at the hotel was brilliant. Breakfast was simple but did the job :) it was our honeymoon and they left us a little note and chocolates! Really nice touch

The Inn On The River is a small hotel but very nice and a good value. The location was great. It is right on the Parkway, with a nice restaurant right next door and Starbucks across the street, and it was a short drive to all the activities in Pigeon Forge. The room was nice and clean. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. They served hot breakfast from 7-10 am that was really good and the hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer! I would definitely stay there again.

Oh my! The complimentary breakfast would have cost us $50 in Pigeon Forge. Peaches and cream stuffed French toast served with fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, and large fresh fruit cup cover in sweetened cream cheese cream. Everything was exceptionally clean, for which I am picky. The location away from the busy-ness was better than staying at a chain hotel sitting next to another chain hotel in the middle of the noise and lights.

I loved the price point for a 2 bedroom in the middle of Pigeon Forge, close to attractions. I was disappointed with the indoor pool. Not enough parking. And while the rooms were clean, the outside and near elevators (and the inside of the elevators) was lacking. Dirty, graffiti, not at all similar to the interior.
