My husband and I took the most beautiful vacation to Greece this last September, went to Athens 2 days, Mykonos 3 days, Chania 3 days then Athens 4 days. We had an amazing time everywhere and everyplace we stayed at. I can say this trip far exceeded my expectation.
But!! after being pampered respected and truly treated like royalty we got to Chania so excited to get to our hotel and continue this amazing adventure we were having so far. The hotel I had originally booked treated us so bad, I’m not going to go into that because I don’t want to take away from the praises I want to give to a person and his crew at Oscar Suits.
I booked Oscar Suites online within minutes of deciding to change hotels.
I called the hotel to send us a transfer saying “Please help us out of this place” I thought I was talking to an angle. Dimitri was so kind and helpful he assured me he had sent a taxi and not to worry. The taxi came and our desperation started to fade away. We got to the hotel and Dimitri and his great staff welcomed us as if we were family, when Dimitri saw the state we were in, he quickly said right now just go to your room rest and tomorrow we’ll finish the check in process. During our stay I remember telling them a hundred times that they were God sent to us.
I can definitely tell you Chania turned out to be the icing on our already delicious cake and we had an even more amazing and even better time because of these guys and the service they gave us was 10 star, five star is not enough for Oscar Suites and staff.
We are already looking forward for a repeat of our vacation minus the (But!!) part.
Much praising needs to be said for their 1st rate restaurant, 1st rate cleanliness, 1st rate service. We love and miss you!!

Agia Marina’s Main Street is filled with coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, souvenir shops….Its 15-20 mins walk to neighbouring Platanias. The beach in Agia Marina is nice but but there are so many others to explore. Loutraki beach is picturesque and Falasarna waters has beautiful shades of blue. The water is a little cooler but so inviting. Visit the Old Port. There are a variety of things to do. Take a stroll through the alley way streets or dance the night away.

I thought Agia Marina was really nice, quiet a busy town, wall to wall restaurants and busy main road. If you are going to The Seagull Hotel by car, it can be very difficult to find (there are very few sign posts) you should look for the a garage SILK OIL red sign post along the main road, that's where you turn off , the Seagull is behind the garage.

An amazing place. First of all thanks to Eva and Dimitris: they are very kind and hospitable staff members, helped us for different small requests. Also they suggested so many places to visit.
The location is very good - 5 min to the clean beaches, also to nice bars, restaurants and also a bus stop if you would like to go to Chania (it takes 20 min to go there).
Also in the roof is very good bar and a nice sunset view
So if you need to book great accommodation, don't think, just book Seagull hotel!
Amazing stay. Perfect location right next to bus stop to/from Chania and 1 minute walk to the beach. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Comfortable beds, big bathroom, fully functional kitchenette with plenty of cooking utensils. A nice touch was the bread, fruit, juice and water in the room for us on arrival. Nice and quiet and good Aircon. The neighbours pool which you can use is great and right next to the hotel, with plenty of sunbeds. George the hotel director was fantastic. Highly recommend.
The Room was a nice size as we had a separate bedroom. Breakfast was OK with a good choice although the cooked food could've been hotter. The pool was smaller than expected for a hotel this size but this didn't matter as we prefer the beach.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This was fantastic value for money. We would definitely use this hotel again. Very close to the beach and located on a steep hill with good views around resort. The hotel has a lift so this was not a problem.
The apartment itself was fantastic, super big and very clean, it had everything you need. I loved the layout of the room and with how the bed is positioned. We chose a sea view room, so we were able to see the swimming pool and the sea, and being able to just walk out and be straight on the beach was just amazing!! The receptionist was very nice and helpful, and the owners are exceptionally kind and the loveliest people. I would highly reccommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Chania.
Charming cozy house in a great location, few walking steps to an amazing sandy beach. Close to dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, mini-market… you can comfortably stay here without needing a car. George was an amazing friendly host that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Amenities were excellent. Mattress was comfortable, and the shower was the best I had in Greece! We absolute recommend Ifigenia’s Seaside Casa and will return next time we’re in the area! ❤️🙏
Good hospitality, kindness, and sincerity in dealing as if you were among your friends and family who love you. The location is excellent, close to bars, the market, and the bus stop to the city center, and the food is good and varied. The hotel manager, Anna, is an angel from heaven. She treats customers with kindness, love, and kindness. She is professional and experienced, Anastasia from the reception is more than wonderful and so are all the staff, thanks to them.
A decent two bedroom apartment with a balcony and a small pool for common use, located in the area with lots of supermarkets, bars and restaurants closeby.
20 min from Chania, 35 min from the airport.
The beach area is fine however there are so many other more beauriful beaches in Crete so rent a car and explore.
The owner is very helpful and nice,
the garden/pool area kept clean.
It's a very good value for money.
We might be back in a year or two 🙂
The room itself was really nice, renovated, electronic doors, mykonian style, nice mattress, all 4 pillows too soft for me but it was ok, clean (most important), beautiful view at the sea. Bottle of wine was in the room along with 2 bottles of water in the fridge. They provide beach towels, robes and also AMAZINGLY soft sleepers (grey colored that i loved). In general very nice hotel a little bit overpriced though.
Location was excellent, only 30 mins drive from chania Airport and 20 mins from the old town
The beach was literally across the road, and there were numerous cafes and restaurants nearby.
The hotel had 2 good swimming pools and the breakfast was good
The panoramic room was a good size with 2 tvs and a PlayStation
Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Maria, at the front desk.
We wanted a hotel that was not a huge resort one, more like a boutique hotel and thought this would fit the bill but it wasn't quite right.
The location is fantastic, on the beach with great views, especially at sunset.
Breakfast was good - there was a reasonable selection and lovely fresh orange juice.
The staff were very helpful, and we organised a tour with the hotel which we really enjoyed.
The breakfast in the morning is enough to keep you full until late afternoon and the variety of other food and available is great. Hotel is around a 5 minute drive into town so has a great location near the beach. Couldn’t have asked for any more from this hotel, would definitely return and recommend to anyone coming to Chania!
First of all we liked the people working at this hotel, the location right on the beautiful beach of Agia Marina, the beautiful garden, a little Eden as the owner described it. I have absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel and will definitely choose Eden Beach Hotel when we will return to Crete.
We loved everything. If you do not need to rent a car then this hotel is just perfect: there is a sandy beach very close (only 2-3 min walk), a good grocery store 100 m away, plenty of good restaurants nearby, there is near a bus stop to Chania , the hotel is clean and fresh, there are also 2 pools !!
This hotel has a beautiful entrance and the rooms are just as lovely. Big spaces that are decorated very cozy and cute. The pool is nice as well and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. All for a nice price
Wonderful - Pool to beach to pool to beach, great setting. Balcony and sea view worth the extra. Friendly and helpful staff. Bus to Chania could be crowded but plenty of choice with local restaurants minutes from the hotel.
The entire staff was very friendly and helpful! Especially, Anna, Marlena and Leo. The hotel itself was clean and very pretty.
We were pleasantly surprised upon check-in when we were upgraded to a larger room.
Thank you!
We enjoyed everything, staff is very friendly and helpful, food very nice and always fresh, the rooms and all area of the hotel very clean and tidy. Easy to walk to the beach and to reach Chania by bus or taxi too.
This was an amazing stay! The tiny art hotel is run by the kindest people. The interior is beautiful and the common area in the garden is just like home. The best part, must have been the breakfast :)
A nice and cozy hotel.
The outdoor pool is very nice with a great swim-up bar. The private beach is great as well.
The hotel gives you everything you need for a great laid back vacation in Crete.
Property was really nice and location is great. Bus stop is almost in front of the apartment and buses go not only to Chania but also to Phalasarna, Kissamos and Elafonissi.
