Fantastic amusement park - Grona Lund (not only for children :)). Vasa Museum is also an unforgetable experience. I would like to come back to Junibacken - Astrid Lidgren museum. Get on The Story Train and dive straight into the magical world between the pages of books. You’ll meet Madicken, Emil, Karlsson and the others on an enchanting journey between the Swedish summer of fairytales and stories and the roaring Karma Falls. The old city was great to walk around - also the ABBA museum is well worth a visit. We only had time for those but there were numerous other activities we could have participated in if we had time. The hotel is located right at the sea opposite Skansen and Gröna Lund. Hotel itself is a very impressive looking old industrial building. Very friendly staff and nice facilities all in all. The best thing however, was the water bus stop right at the front door. We used the water bus lines to make sight seeing trips around the city and to get ourselves to city center. The water buses were a really convenient way to move around.
