Downtown area a bit grubby.
Downtown area a bit grubby. EVERYTHING needs a good steam cleaning and some minor repair after the drunken bacchanalias that take place on a regular basis after concerts and sporting events. Catch it now before it goes into worse decline.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 8.0

Lovely town and oh so many shops and places to spend our money ... lovely. Transport was brilliant hop on hop off so good and timing at every 20 mins brilliant. Chippy opposite the Orme railway station was excellent so clean and fish and chips best for many a year. We are 84 years old and getting around was so good reasonably flat with some small hillsGuest review byRonaldUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We loved the market in Mumbles, Joe's Icecream Parlour and the "Funky Market" in the hall up the road from the seafront. It is easy to get around Swansea/Mumbles; the road signage is excellent. The road surfaces, however, were as uneven and potholed as practically anywhere else in the UK. We are definitely not a "young couple", sorry - but we did visit the large shops at Forestfach. We did not take any photos - again, sorry - you youngsters will just have to come to Swansea/Mumbles to discover its features for yourself.* *Especially Joe's Icecream Parlour - a must for our every visit!Guest review byArthurUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We love Tenby, it has a choice of 3 beautifully clean beaches, plenty of shops (especially ice cream shops), bars and restaurants. Lots to do and see just a short drive away. Boat trips over to cadley island are very popular.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
A nice place with an excellent shopping centre.
A nice place with an excellent shopping centre. Disappointed with the lack of green areas in the centre. People, including shop staff, were very nice and helpful. However it was difficult to find somewhere to eat what we like (traditional English meals). Ended up with tasteless junk takeaway. We did not bring transport but did not need to go anywhere that was not walkable, other than we would have liked to have found a suitable eatery nearer the city centre, because we have a dog and even if allowed, he does not travel well on buses. We are not a young couple and it looked like there was little for us to do in the evenings.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Betws y Coed is a pretty little place on the river which seems to attract many visitors during the day but they seem to disappear in the evenings so there’s very little atmosphere at night which is a shame.Guest review byTinaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely spot in North Wales, lovely beach and some nice restaurants. Locals were friendly . We did a boat trip around Cardigan Bay and it was well worth the £20 per head cost, although we were very lucky with the weather. Some nice shops. We ate at The Captain’s Table (really lovely little place, food was spot on.Guest review byCarole
