I liked the Staff, they were friendly and helpful particularly the manager Stacey who helped us out when we had a few complaints about the original room and then helped us change.
The Lauriston Hotel is located in the heart of Weston-super-Mare, within easy walking distance of some of the main attractions the town has to offer.

My single room had been refurbished with a good shower and tasteful furniture. Staff friendly, restaurant good value, but you need to book before 5pm. Location great for a walk along the seafront promenade
The Royal Hotel is a charming Georgian building with its own extensive lawns that extend to Weston-super-Mare’s Promenade. It offers sea views, rooms with free Wi-Fi and a fine restaurant.

Excellent location. Although the front of the hotel was busy and noisy, our room (305) was quiet and had good views of the beach and sea. Public areas of the hotel are much better presented than the room we had. Staff were excellent (with one very stressed exception :-( ) and breakfast was very well presented and delicious. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before booking in and after booking out, which was very helpful - thank you.

Whilst we didn't spend a large amount of time in Loxton (it was too wet for long walks) it was very easy to get to Cheddar, Weston Super Mare and other local towns. The Webbington Hotel's gym, pool and spa is recommended. Take a trip to Cheddar for the caves, walks a quaint shops as well as the pubs and restaurants

Average and my room was decent. Others were not. Mine had recently been refurbished with new carpets and wallpaper but the rest of the hotel was in need of some major TLC. Horrible old dusty carpets throughout, tiny rooms in the other building with no light and generally old and worn. Definitely wouldn’t pay £120 a night to stay here again. I would say more about the 60-80 mark is more suitable.

The location of the hotel benefits from being high up with far reaching views over Somerset countryside. However, although the hotel is warm, homely and quiet inside, the nearby M5 motorway is really noisy - so sitting on the terrace outside the bar is not as pleasant as you might think.
There's plenty of parking though, and the staff were superb.

Good hotel with lots of parking, the staff were lovely & helpful whenever we had a query, breakfast was nice with various choices, nice pool but the changing room was small for both men & women. Good location, a bit off the beaten track but that's its charm with cracking views. The hotel is a bit dated but I'm sure this is in the process of being sorted in the future.I was clean & tidy & our double room was a decent size with en suite.

A hidden gem in Somerset.
A hidden gem in Somerset. About an hour’s walk from the quaint medieval town of Axbridge and short drive from Cheddar and Clevedon. You have to be a walker and countryside person to enjoy this place!
Ground floor room as requested, overlooking the courtyard. Perfectly adequate for the price. Good shower and handrails in the bathroom which proved useful. We had dinner on 3 nights which we enjoyed - good menu. Service was excellent, especially as big parties were in for 2 of those nights and the service staff had to go between rooms! Lovely views from front of hotel. We didn't use the extra facilities - spa, gym etc, so can't comment on those.
Really nice hotel with far reaching views towards the Bristol Channel and beyond. The hotel has a really nice feel to it, plenty of space and a nice restaurant & bar. Nice pool, and a small gym. The staff are always brilliant here, ever helpful and efficient, it's become our go to venue in Somerset. Location is great, with easy access to all the tourist attractions in the area and the M5.
Really good location, step outside and you can walk straight to crooks keep
Our room was big, clean and comfy.
Staff were brilliant, we stayed for our wedding anniversary & there was a card in our room on arrival.
Good variety of breakfast options.
Staff were really friendly, Hotel was clean and tidy, rooms were also clean. We asked for rooms close together and this was provided. Breakfast was also good. Swimming pool and spa facilities were nice.
Beautiful hotel great views and most of the staff lovely. Amenities were brilliant - used the pool, steam room and sauna. Great terrace and evening meal was good as was the breakfast, great variety.
Staff were brilliant, style is brilliant. Breakfast was delicious!
Pool and sauna were good, the rooms were beyond adequate.
Sadly just a one night stay, but I wouldn't hesitate to return.
The staff, especially those working in the restaurant, were really helpful and attentive. The location of the hotel was really great for our early start to Bristol. It was also very clean.
Staff very pleasant, polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, clean, grand and in a great location - easy to reach, yet rural and quiet. Very comfy, rooms spacious and clean.
