Very cosy cabin on the water, close to Leknes and central to many places in the Lofoten Islands. Nice size rooms and bathroom. Checkin was very simple after-hours when we arrived late. Tina in reception was very friendly and gave us some tips on things to see and do during our stay. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the winter season, but this did not detract from our stay. Great views just outside the door in this area.

The cabin is so nice, adorable with everything you could need for cooking. The scenery around the cabin is stunning, kind of unreal in a way. I loved being about to go for walks, hike, down to the beach. I could’ve stayed for a few more days! The property managers were very helpful if we ever needed anything or had questions.

I stayed at his house while traveling to lofoten with my school for a student trip. The apartment is newly renovated, and was very comfortable. The owners and hosts were very flexible and communicative and I am very thankful. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this apartment.

Leknes is extremely convenient if it's the first time you're staying in Lofoten. There are plenty towns to visit within a 1.5 hour range of driving and if we had more time we would have ventured further. We only stayed for 4 nights but it was enough to visit a number of well known towns/villages like Henningsvær, Nusfjord, Å, Reine, and Svolvær. It is a very small town but it has everything you need like a large grocery store, a fairly large mall, some great take away places like Pizza Bakeren, conveniently located charging stations for your electric vehicle, plus some hiking trails very close by which I think is the norm throughout Lofoten in general. The airport was only 7 mins from where we stayed and it's also very easy to get to. The Lofoten Bakeri is a very popular cafe and bakery and has excellent coffee. I highly recommend Leknes as an entry point into Lofoten. Next time I will stay in Svolvær purely because it's a larger city with more connection points to activities etc, and because of it's proximity to popular places further north. You need minimum 2-3 weeks in Lofoten itself if you really want to experience it fully, but I would stay for months if time and finances allowed!AradhnaSouth Africa - 10Scored 10

Leknes was easy to get around for groceries or drinks. We had a great meal at Digg. Anita's in Reine is worth the trip for the fish sandwich! Spectacular scenery - everywhere! Could have stayed another week.

Leknes is an incredible place, easily accesible through the E10 road and strategically located in the Lofoten islands so that you can access a miriad of wonderful sites within <1h ride. Plenty of services like supermarkets, petrol stations. A perfect basecamp for your trip to Lofoten.

I visited Lofoten Islands for a photo workshop. The scenery is outstanding. The photos workshop was very helpful for me. The Leknes airport was the smallest airport I have ever seen and there was only ONE taxi there. I ended up walking with my luggage for about an hour to a pizza joint and one of the waitresses called a taxi for me. The Hamnoy area is mind-blowing.

Kitchen was big with all the needed equipment. It was very nicely furnished, cozy and comfortable. Especially the very comfy chairs on the second floor were a delight. Easy to get the rooms warm, even in winter. You could park multiple cars on the property. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful re any questions or local knowledge. Beautiful surroundings and v convenient being just off the E10 and 10 mins from Leknes airport. It had the feel of being in the middle of nowhere but with the convenience of transport links for day trips annd andventures. Our cabin was gorgeous and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed.

The house is located in easy walking distance to the Hauklandstranda beach and it only takes a a 5 minute drive with the car through the tunnel to Uttakleiv beach, where we had the chance to see northern lights.
