Our primary reason for visiting Lanciano was to see the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. The front entrance to the church was a bit hard to discern, but once inside it's easy to find things. The area around the church has some pretty older buildings and is nice to walk around. It was a relaxing visit for us, and the people were friendly. The location was very central to the medieval part of Lanciano with a lovely local festival on the nights we were there. We enjoyed the little balcony. It is in a residential area which gives a very authentic experience. Car parking was available on the street not far away and we were able to drop bags at the door. I won't specify my request because I do not want people exploiting his goodness. Location of the hotel couldn't get more perfect. Only if u r travelling by Flixbus it is a little distance from where it stops, but Aldo was too kind and sorted the hurdle I faced. I would definitely revisit Lanciano and stay at the Albergo Roma. It's very prettily decorated and has everything you will need for your stay. The kitchen is small but very well-equipped for breakfast and simple meals, and there was also a beautiful cake left for us.
