This is a beautiful property located in the hills above Bakio town. It is a few kilometres drive to the seafront so best having a car to access the beach. I liked the tranquillity of this beautifully maintained property and gardens.

Such a wonderful property! The room was amazing - high ceilings, comfortable bed, nice furnishings and very clean. Parking was easy to find and close. The keypad system was very convenient. Sarai was so easy to communicate with and she gave us great recommendations for restaurants. The Nespresso machine in the shared area was the cherry on top!

Very private location and feeling of exclusivity. The receptionists are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lady in the morning shift is an excellent conversationalist and her English is very good. The lady in the evening is very enthusiastic, although her English is limited. Beds are comfy and towels are fluff. Bathroom floor is heated. Wi-Fi is reasonably fast.

Bakio is a terrific beach and surfing resort, but we didn't go for either of those. We went because it's close to Gaztelugatxe and there are some very good restaurants nearby. And a txakoli museum! Check it out!

I really recommend visiting them, they give great advices to visit the area. The apartment was really clean and very well equipped (coffee machine, kettle, bath towels, toilet paper ...). It felt just like in an hotel. Thank you Miren for everything, we really enjoyed our stay and make sure to promote this little paradise to our friends and family.

We had a cute little room on the top floor with a great window and view. The hotel is 20/30 min drive to Bilbao and just 5 minutes to an amazing beach with a beautiful sunset and groups of surfers. We went for an evening swim and the moment + feeling was magical. We extended with one night because there is much to see close by.

I went to hike the “Ermita de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe” and the bus was just behind the hotel. The next day I went to Bilbao and the bus stop was also behind the hotel. You have to bus choices and runs every 30 minutes. There is a choice of 2 buses, one ending in 17 which takes you all around the area and a fastest one ending in 18.
